Nice keyboard that relieves forearm stress
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was developing epicondylitis due to repetitive stress injury from my previous keyboard. Along with a few other changes I bought and started using this Microsoft ergonomic keyboard. It looks like a beast on my desk, and has a pretty big footprint. (For perspective, the photo shows the keyboard in front of my Apple 30" Cinema Display monitor.) But the keyboard certainly helped relieve my forearm stress and the tendinitis is almost healed. PROS: *Great* price! (way cheaper and better quality than most keyboards) Super comfortable to type on Nice extra buttons and media keys Solid quality build CONS: Not backlit Space bar is a little tough to press compared to other keys (perhaps because it is not split and goes all the way across the bend) If you are having repetitive stress injury then seriously consider this keyboard.

Really great keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my son who is in college and also a gamer, because he is on his laptop all the time and with the keyboard design I thought it might help him so his hands and wrists might not ache as much. He was sceptical about it at first and immediately after he started using it he was really happy with it and thought it was the greatest thing. Since he began using it he has not complained about his hands or wrists which has enabled him to be able to concentrate and helps him type faster and not keep stopping because of aches and pain, and a plus with him was his gaming has improved because most of the buttons he uses are all on the one side of the keyboard.

Really phelps the wrists!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made this purchase specifically because my wrists started to hurt with the keyboard I had. I'm glad I made the switch! The ergonomic design made it so my wrists don't hurt anymore. Thanks, Microsoft!

Best keyboard for me.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With my disability, SEVERE DIGENERATIVE DISC. The contours of the keyboard places my hands arms and shoulders in a position that is comfortable and practical for typing. With the standard keyboard after 10 minutes of typing the stress is so bad, my neck and shoulders lock up, this takes awhile to relax those muscles to a point where I can move my head. My neck is the location of the Severity and is the most vulnerable. Best product for me. Thank you!

Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard great for hands
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.have used this keyboard since 2010 and wish Microsoft keep the Original "Wireless " board as before rather than change. I had to purchase the Plug in in order to have the exact same one. This lasted over 8 years and still working but letters were wearing off and my grandchildren could not find the letters...hence the new b board. Helps with arthritis and Never had Carpal tunnel using this.

I LOVE These Ergonomic Keyboards
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used these for many years. The Microsoft Ergonomics last me about 18 months each. While competing keyboards last about 6 months each. (The last time I bought some they were five times as expensive.) NOTE: There don't seem to be ANY competing ergonomic keyboards.

Great Ergo Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this Ergo Keyboard for my wife since the last exact one was worn down and mis-firing. Old one lasted about 8 years. Purchased online without hassles. Picked up at the store without hassles. Overall great shopping experience.

Q: QuestionI have this keyboard, version 1.0 and it's loud when typing. I'm looking for a soft touch or quiet ergonomic keyboard. Does this version improve upon that?
Asked by 5175.
- A:Answer I have had five or six keyboards over the course of time. I type 85 words a minute, so my priority is that the keys can recover before I hit the next one. This keyboard does indeed meet those expectations and it is relatively quiet; but not SILENT. If that is what you seek, I am not sure which keyboard you need. It is Erg Dynamic and I had an earlier version of the Microsoft keyboard that was curved more than this one and I liked it better. But I cannot find that one. I tried to use the old one with a Keyboard to USB adaptor, but it didn't recognize WINDOWS 10 . [which I Hate !!! ]. So though they say things improve with technology, perhaps old school is better. Not a bad keyboard for the price and I am happy with it for the present.

Q: QuestionWhat is the keyboard's operating configuration ? Secretarial , Engineering , Scientific ? Is there a choice ?
Asked by jamespat.
- A:Answer First of all, there isn't a choice; what you see is what you get. I'd consider it "professional user". It adds multimedia functionality, as well as internet browsing tools such as forward, back, and a zoom function. I work in an IT help desk and love it. I've owned 2 of these exact keyboards over roughly 10 years. Great keyboard.

Q: QuestionIs there any way to keep the keys from fading? I replaced my old "Microsoft" Ergo with this new one--noticed that the keys are simply "glued" on. Our tech guys used to ask me how I was able to use the board...I'm a typist, I KNOW where the keys are!
Asked by B3rd.
- A:Answer I have the same problem- the letters are rubbed off within 6 months. I’ve tried clear nail polish, acrylic sealer, but nothing makes them last longer. I definitely would like a resolution to this!

Q: QuestionIs the package su pposed to have a software CD? And/or quick starter guide?
Asked by Xina.
- A:Answer No, this keyboard doesn't come with a CD or quick start guide. It is plug and play. Once you plug it in your computer will recognize it and it will operate. Any advanced instructions are on line

Q: QuestionDoes this work for small hands? I'm a female and 5'3 and have very small hands. I can use children's gloves.
Asked by Natty.
- A:Answer Yes if you can type on a normal size keyboard you will be fine. That is basically all it is, it just has the ergonomic factor for better hand placement. I have bought several for the women in my office & some like you have smaller hands. They had no issues with the size, just the getting use to the ergonomic part.
