Very fast, lightweight, Great Performance

Quality5 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:PerformanceIs a great lightweight laptop that performs awesome. Although it is not equipped with a dedicated Graphic card, it runs games smoothly. Battery life is long and reliable. When operating in normal (not peak) performance, fan noise is a bit annoying. It makes a noise on a base of periods rather than being constant, steady noise.

Best Windows Laptop for Business
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Certainly one of the best windows laptops that exists for business applications. I use basically Office 365, Adobe Acrobat and web browsers. I don't do a lot of intense computing, but I'll have 20 to 30 different types of windows open at a time. This laptop handles that like a champ, never slowing down to take a break. I prefer this laptop over my MacBook Air, over the XPS 13 and the Specte 360. Each of those are top in the class, but when it comes to performance and quality I find the surface laptop to be the best. I really appreciate the solid construction, responsive keyboard and how it is fully one with windows. Not a surprise since Microsoft is hand picking the hardware that works best with its operating system.

Awesome laptop
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Quality sturdy build, solid aluminum. Minimalist design. When you close it the laptop becomes very compact. A lot of screen real estate for the size of the laptop. I like the more 3/2 aspect ratio as opposed to extreme widescreen. Runs whisper quiet. Good battery life. Extremely fast at loading websites and running Microsoft applications. Boots up in something like 10 seconds and when you open it from sleep wakes up immediately, detects your face and unlocks. No complaints so far. There is a lack of connectivity but all laptops this thin have that. Thankfully it still has a USB-A for older peripherals but I have it plugged into a dock through USB-C when at home and everything works great using that.

Good for the busy college student.
|Posted .Owned for 4 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Have been using this laptop for the fall semester and I've had no issues with it. I usually have like 5+ tabs open, a Youtube video playing, Discord, Microsoft Office, and maybe even Zoom open. It runs smoothly and it's a great laptop for its price. I do wish there was one more USB port, so I do recommend you to buy a hub or something so you can use a mouse + wireless headphones + an external keyboard on it. The keys also have a really nice feel to them and don't make much noise. I would definitely suggest this laptop for anyone in college.

Very portable and powerful for small laptop.
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5What I wanted from a laptop was it’s portability and it’s functionality, and this definitely delivers. But I have one problem with the Surface is mine came with software bug and it kept black screening when blue light filter was on. I went with Geek squad and they “fixed” the problem but it was only temporary because the black screen returned once again. Not sure what the problem is but it seems that it’s common with the Microsoft Surface. Overall the laptop works great and is pretty powerful for how small and compact it is.

Great computer!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I got this laptop for school and so far I’m really content with it. It’s very easy to navigate and also super compact and small so it’s easy and lightweight to carry around if needed. I was hesitant about the price at first because I didn’t want to spend that much on a laptop but it seems like microsoft really did a good job with their surface laptops. I would recommend.

Great laptop, not so much as an all around
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use2 out of 5The best surface product I have used so far, and I have had them all. It would be excellent if Microsoft could fix their wonky interface hub. I have purchased 5 new hubs over the years on the advice of Microsoft folks and best buy folks, and the issue of having to reset the displays every few days is aggravating. I wouldn't know any better, but I also run a MacBook Pro with triple monitors that never misses a beat. I'm still rooting for Microsoft, as my business software does not play with mac and I don't want to do the interface.

Q: QuestionCan this laptop be used for 3D applications like : Maya, blender, substance painter, Photoshop and the gaming engines (ie, unity and unreal engine 4)
Asked by Cookie.
- A:Answer Absolutely. Even though you may over clock at some points for gaming, I play FFXIV for hours with no issues. I would suggest closing applications just to be safe, but it upholds to the highest graphics with ease. It also has no issue with photoshop or blender - or no issues that I have found.
