The company I work for requires a Windows computer, the software doesn't work on a Mac. When I first started I bought a very inexpensive laptop for what I thought would be the 2 or 3 days a year I'd work from home. And it was good enough for a couple of days a year. Little did I know I'd end up working from home permanently. Eventually that cheap laptop's shortcomings became too much. Slow performance, laggy cursor, unimpressive screen, etc. So I decided to invest in a new, better, laptop. This 15" Surface Laptop 5 ticked all the boxes for me. My needs are not extreme. A couple of browser windows open, each with a few tabs. A program that shows me 100 or so stock quotes that update in real time with charting. Occasional Word & Excel work. The screen quality on this computer is sharp and vivid, ram & storage are more than adequate for my needs, the battery lasts almost the whole day, the computer looks and feels elegant and there's no preinstalled bloatware. So far there has never been as much as a hiccup. I'm very pleased with this purchase

This is my first Microsoft Laptop and I must say my research paid off in deciding the Surface laptop. I wanted something sleek and modern, but also powerful enough to handle my daily personal computing needs. The best thing I like about it so far is its aluminum finish with perfect curves, slim design, soft keyboards that feel good when typing, and the bright screen. The OS is very responsive and I get into the desktop in no time from the time I lift the screen up. I use Spotify while I'm working and the inbuilt speakers have been performing well in playing my music. The only worry I have is if I get dents on the edges easily from my daily use, but I have to wait and see. So far it has been all a positive experience and I would definitely recommend Microsoft Surface laptop to others.

This computer is perfect for my business needs. Large, great quality screen, lightning fast, and lightweight. Will be a great work computer for years to come. Love the touchscreen feature too.
