I’ve used an iPad and Laptop for years. This is the first time I’ve been happy with a tablet style computer. The iPad was great for its ultra portability but lacked support for full fledged applications like photoshop. Laptops were always too cumbersome to lug around every day. Finally the Surface Pro allows me to get work done with all my windows apps but in a portable package. It’s fast, has great resolution, it’s light and portable and has great battery life. I highly recommend getting the surface pen and the keyboard cover as well for maximum utility. Overall, I’ve never been happier with a laptop as I am with the surface.

I have been an "Apple guy" for several years in both computers and tablets. However, I have been less and less impressed with Apple's take on personal computing and their OS. At the same time, I have become more and more impressed with Windows 10. Recently went back to a PC for work, and have not looked back. My iPad Pro just would not do all that I wanted it to. As a reader or for basic tasks, it was okay. However, I wanted to have better capabilities. I have to say that since my Surface arrived, I have been very impressed, and have not missed my iPad once. Speed is awesome, screen looks really good, and coupled with the Surface Pen and Keyboard Cover, this item really shines. Does everything my main computer will do in a package that is easy to carry along with me anywhere. Battery lasts all day, so you don't have to worry about being away from an outlet. Handles complex operations well. Even runs ProPresenter with no issues. Very impressed! Microsoft is doing a great job with these tablets!
