I love it. I was a previous Surface Pro owner but decided it was time for an upgrade. It’s fast, clear and user friendly.

Just got this laptop like three weeks ago, so far I love it. At first, I was bummed that the port on the side was upgraded to the USB-C, because I didn’t have a way to connect to my monitor anymore. (My old surface pro had the mini display port) But, I ended up investing in the Surface Dock 2 and now I can use two monitors, and my ring light! :) The picture and battery on this thing are amazing!

Really wanted to like this Surface Pro 7 - it has everything on it that I’m looking for - but I got the blue screen of death and device restarted almost immediately upon starting up the device. That happened another 8-9 times within 12 hours of owning this. Will be exchanging for another in hopes it was just a defective item. Wish me luck

Bought this for my wife's birthday Feb 2020. Starting in late 2021, it started crashing. Now as of Jan 2022 it will now boot up all. Is in a loop screen reads "something went wrong" is in blue screen mode. Talked to person who is an IT expert ondicates it is either bad driver or harddrive. Tried resetting 2 times back to factory, still will mot boot up. Paid a lot of money for less than 2 years. I had picked up one dor myself but haven't opened and will eeturn as cannot take a chance on having yhe same issue with mine.

Love this tablet/laptop. I have the i7/256/16 specs, I am a software engineer and I needed something backed with power. This thing flies with any task I throw at it so far. Also the size is just perfect which makes it easily portable with keeping good screen real estate. Excellent build quality of a tablet, the only complaint I have is the keyboard, for being used to mechanical keyboards, this one feels flimsey and hard to type but protects the face of the tablet when closed. But hey dock it and we're back to normal. Overall excellent tablet and I think worth the purchase.

This is the first surface I have ever gotten, I kept talking myself out of spending this much money. But I finally just pulled the trigger and I love this thing. It will not be the last one I own that is for sure. I love the fact that I can use it as a tablet or computer and it is fully functional either way. It's way more portable than my old laptop, and with the type cover it just keeps it feeling like I could use it anywhere. Battery life could use some improvement but there are probably some adjustments I could make on my end to improve that too. There are so many apps and with the surface pen and ability to write on the screen I love this thing. Totally worth it. If you are on the fence between this and a traditional tablet... get the surface.

So just to clarify I purchased the 7gig and 256 model. Best Buy didn't spam my email for a review 2,567 times like other companies do. I came here because I was feeling so in love with this device just a moment ago and knew I had to thank Microsoft for this device. I grew up on Windows and experiencing a Mac was something I had only gotten to do after probably 6 years of working with MS products. It felt novel, but it lacked the distinct integration and control I had with Windows. Long story short I grew into an adult wary of MS products because I loved them so much but had so many flops and fails. Then I took a good hard look into this device and finally made the jump into what I consider a peripheral device to my two main workstations. This is absolutely one of the most fulfilling and convenient ways to experience Microsoft's Windows and has only deepened my obsession with this platform and the unbelievably unlimited amount of work and creativity that one can pump out of these machines. This device is so flippin' wonderful. Thanks so much MS! PS it's fast, boots up in a flash, can run nearly all my digital workspace products and games. It really intuitive and just works the way you want it to work. The pen is great too, you gotta get the pen.
