I chose this Surface because it had LTE and I was hoping since it was new it would be a fast model. The first purchase had to be refunded as AFTER I configured it completely, I noticed there was a crack in the top right corner of the screen. The replacement also had issues and in mid-configuration, after rebooting, it would lock up at the MS Windows logo screen. Couldn't do anything about it. No matter how I reset it, it wouldn't proceed past this screen. Third one came and I gave it to my user to use. They are complaining of poor performance. E-mail is taking 30 seconds to send. Apps are opening up slow. My user is NOT happy. So I may be returning this one as well. It was nice that it had LTE, but I think there are issues with the ARM compatibility with software. I'm going to probably be getting an Intel based system if my user doesn't want it after this week.

Love the portability. Enjoy the ease of operation and face recognition. Great colors and again the wonderful windows 10. The fact you can carry it around laptop or iPad very nice. Still learning how it all works I will figure it out. Thanks Microsoft

This is a nice system if all you need to do is use the Internet and check email. However, because of the ARM processors, you will not be able to install any 64-bit software. Kind of makes this about as useful as any chromebook but more expensive. Loved the sleek design, full real estate for screen, and concept of replaceable hard drive but until all the software can run on ARM technology, you may be disappointed with this purchase.

Customers have good things to say about the Surface Pro X's 4G LTE capabilities, sleek design, ease of use, and battery life. Many appreciate its portability and the high-quality screen. However, some customers express concerns regarding the processor's limitations in running certain applications and occasional performance issues. The ARM-based processor's compatibility with 64-bit software is a recurring point of criticism.
