Customers regard Windows 10 Home as an easy-to-use and high-performing operating system, frequently praising its straightforward installation and compatibility. Positive feedback also highlights the user-friendly interface and a range of beneficial features. However, some users expressed concerns about mandatory updates and privacy settings. A small number of users reported issues with hard drive failures, though this was not a widespread concern.

Reviewed a week ago and wish had given 2 stars rather than 5 stars. As I live with it and get to know it, it's strength is that is probably more efficient and much quicker than prior operating systems, thus 5 stars. However, some issues are raising their ugly head. While I could live with their deleting the 'create shortcut' from the right click menu on the desktop and burying it deep in the menu structure, what I can't live with is setting up my desktop icon as I like them, grouping software groups (MS Office Suite, Adobe CC, etc ) and subject groups (finance, utilities, etc.) together, what I can't live with is Windows inexplicitly rearranging them into single columns (3 wide in my case) down the left of the desktop all in random order. Searching, I have tried multiple 'solutions' to no avail, including registry changes, and after arranging back 3-4 times per week have finally given up. Worse, my internet search reveals that this has been an ongoing complaint/problem since August 2015 and Microsoft has not fixed it. Contrast that with Apple when they release a new OSX/IOS version that is suddenly found to have issues they issue a patch within days or weeks. Microsoft either doesn't care, doesn't know how to fix it, or worse, blames another software (which I don't have on my computer). The two photos attached show my desired placement and Microsoft's rearranged mess. My only alternative is to take them off the desktop and place them in the chunky blocks of the Start menu they introduced with Windows 8 that everyone hated, although I could have ir displace all the garbage/salesware Microsoft thinks I want on the Start menu. Works OK with programs, but forget about browser links saved to desktop, particularly if they have a competing app in their Store. Facebook is a good example as Microsoft's app, while free, is severely lacking compared to direct signon to facebook.com. Most notable, if you have related business accounts under your primary Facebook account, they are totally missing in the app.

Worked great all bundled up in a nice package! The box was well designed. It contained - USB 3.0 Thumb Drive w/ Windows 10 & both x32/x64 versions. - And a nice durable business type card with the all important "Activation Code" Was very easy to install and VERY Fast as it's USB 3.0 *Compared to Old DVD-ROM* Install. Glad I purchased the "Retail" Copy so I know i'll have this OS for years/computers to come. :) *In-case I upgrade or need a clean install*
