The are tons of wireless mouse, most of them are made for portable uses = tiny; and other touted to be ergonomic = right handed ONLY; There are mouse that offer both but only for the niche hardcore gamer = extremely expensive. For years we have to settle with Logitech M185, Microsoft wireless mobile 3500, some no name cheap made and the most comforatble mouse for us was Logitech M150, Which can't be bought alone cause its only bundle with their wireless combo set. That was a PITA cause M150 is a cheap basic mouse with rubbish construction that we have to change every year. Enough of the rants. This mouse is full size, the right size if you have average man-size hand. its ambidextrous so everyone including the 2 lefty in the house will be happy, its cheap enough to change every year as mouse will get throwing around in HTPC uses. The weight with one AA battery is 100g = 3.5oz, about 20g more than tiny portable wireless mouse with one battery. The attached picture shown the size compare to other mice. The G402 is my PC mouse, as claw/fingertip user, both mouse feel similar in my hand. Obviously the precision and speed is miles apart, the sensor psi is good enough for 1080p display. Mouse wheel is smaller than MS 3500 despite being a bigger mouse, no thread, does have notches, but I could forsee the rubber will get sticky after a year or 2. top is glossy, sides are mate plastic. Primary buttons are OK, much better than M185. For the built alone, the MS 3500 is better than MS 900, Logitech M185 last. Somehow I felt Logitech consumer mouse is getting from bad to worst.

Perfect mouse for what I needed. I wanted a basic mouse to use on my 6 yr. olds laptop, that would hold up to a childs rough usage and wouldn't break the bank if it was lost or misplaced. Very quick and simple setup. It took a grand total of about 30 seconds, to go from the box to actual use. The price was great, and low enough that if I need to purchase another one for any reason, the expense is easy to accept. Especially since, I am already planning on needing to buy another one at some point because of the fact that it is being used for kids on the go.
