One year of Xbox live gold is a huge money saver compared to paying monthly. Plus live gold comes with one or two FREE games every month - which cuts down on my nine year old begging me for new games constantly!

I give it 5 stars because my son loves it - apparently it is required to play a bunch of different games and against his friends. Why anyone wouldn't buy the year subscription is beyond me. I think $59.99 for a year - $24.99 for only 3 months. Even my little guy quickly did the math and said the same thing. Plus, you get access to games free.
