I love this gaming console!
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Absolutely the best console ever. You must really have the 4k tv to go with it. To enjoy it in its entirety. You will not be disappointed. I have the ps4 pro too And that's just for its exclusives which have gotten lame quick "minus that Horizon Zero Dawn and Nioh". The console is basically a paperweight. Because the cross console games play better on the Xbox1X plus it plays 4k movies. I absolutely love it.

This takes 4k gaming to the next level.
||Posted .Hooking up the system was pretty much easy and self-explanatory. The one caveat to that is, I think they could do a better job explaining that you must hook up the system to a specific HDMI port on most tv's to get the true 4k benefits. Once the system was hooked up and turned on, I was blown away by the truly amazing graphics shown before me. The performance of the system itself was a proper enhancement all its own compared to its predecessor. While the system does carry a hefty price tag, it appears to be well worth it.

Worth Every Penny
||Posted .Way better than original, graphic look way better on most games. If you play fortnite, buy the monitor... You never experience frame rate slowing on 50 v 50, which is the hardest for xbox to keep up with. No issues so far

Proud of the commitment from Microsoft.
Posted .Original Review: November 9, 2017 I love it. It’s taking its place over my PS4 Pro in the first HDMI slot that’s for sure. I’m pretty sure you already know what the Xbox One X does otherwise you wouldn’t be here. Project Scorpio Edition is that same Xbox One X console just with a pretty coat of paint. It has polka dots on the top and goes to a gray color tone. The X really does look good with the black and hint of green lettering on the front. This is a dense system very heavy but not difficult to move; You can tell Microsoft put their heart and soul into this product. The system has a lot of power in it and perfect for showcasing your 4K TV. Xbox One X is quick with the UI and it does open apps insanely fast. 4K HDR looks phenomenal Gears 4 and Forza 7 really shine on the system just wish they had more new first party games that took advantage of the system at release. The family loves using it and they love the 4K Blu-ray built in. In my opinion, it really is and remain an all in one box; that was Microsoft vision and I believe they promised on that. $500 is a steep price to pay at first but I feel like the investment and value is there just not “unlocked” And the X is sure to come down in price with retailers in the next 6 months. Xbox 360 games look better but don’t expect a massive improvement. All in all, it’s the perfect streaming box and the most powerful console in the world right now. Spend the extra cash on the Xbox One X and have it all. (Note: Get an external hard drive. It is a MUST. No really, AAA games now take up nearly 100GB of space or more. I get it with the massive 4K textures but this takes the cake. I now have 214GB left from the 1 TB and keep in mind that not all of these are UHD games but imagine 1-2 years from now. 1TB is not going to cut it.) Update 11/23/17: I’m already out of hard drive space not even a month away. So yeah I would highly recommend a 2 - 8 TB HDD if you certainly going to download a lot of games. Destiny 2 will get a 4K HDR patch next month. As it stands it’s 33 GB, the 4K textures on this game are going to be massive I’m sure. I notice someone else said you shouldn’t be shocked by games eating up space and questions people if they are gamers who are stunned by this. That is beside the point, I’m not “shocked” by the space being so overblown. I’m simply pointing out that these companies can’t get away with such small storage for much longer going forward and for YOU to get an HDD as soon as possible. They are already working on improvements to how storage is handled. For example, Devs can cut out things that don’t matter to the local country games and giving you the option deselect language packs. This is what is needed going forward and at least glad they are going to do something and I’m proud of that. Update 2/28/2018: Mircosoft has remained to deliver promises on the Xbox One X. The system is stellar and has a strong lineup of games. The monthly pass service is on $10 a month and well on its way to being the Netflix of gaming. There is an App for PC that allows to the streaming from Xbox...and an iOS app called OneCast which works amazing. this is by far my favorite system since the Sega Genesis and the Dreamcast. Keep up the great work Microsoft.

Posted .Hey there,
Thank you for the very thorough review of Xbox One X! We're glad to hear that you're still enjoying it now as much as when you first got it. And good call on the recommendation to invest in an external hard drive if you plan on installing a lot of games -- it'll definitely come in handy in the long run. We hope you continue to have a lot of with it!

Q: QuestionDoes the Xbox One X still play Xbox 1 games?
Asked by Zack.
- A:Answer Yes, it is compatible with all games and controllers, if it works on xbox one it will work on the xbox one X. Over 130 games will be enhanced and run better on the 1 x too. You'll also be able to play many 360 games and the orginal XBOX games from over 15 years ago.

Q: QuestionHow can I preorder this new Xbox? Thanks!
Asked by Jr222.
- A:Answer Once the ability to "Preorder" begins, then you can. Should be soon according to Phil Spencer head of Xbox. The button labeled "Coming Soon" will then be clickable for you to preorder it.

Q: QuestionCould a Xbox One X user play with a Xbox One user assuming they both have Live Gold and the same game?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes. The One X is still a member of the Xbox One family -- Hence, no matter if all parties associated are playing across the Xbox One/ Xbox One S/ Xbox One X/Windows 10 PC using Play Anywhere title, online gameplay can occur across all platforms, especially, but not limited to, Xbox Live Gold.

Q: QuestionAre there any additional cables needed with the purchase to hook up to 4K tv? HDMI or such? Also, if it plays original Xbox games, will it inclue NBA Street Vol. 2? That game is boss!!!
Asked by XB1XFAN.
- A:Answer Nope! The Xbox One X comes with a 4k-capable HDMI cable! Specifics about original Xbox backwards compatibility haven't been announced yet, but if there is a specific title you are interested in, we recommend checking out feedback.xbox.com to get your voice heard!

Q: QuestionDoes it play the XBox 360 games ?
Asked by Kats.
- A:Answer Some but not all. If you go to Xbox.com, you should find a list of Xbox 360 games that work on Xbox one.

Q: QuestionI pre-ordered the Xbox One Scorpio Edition and my credit card was charged $541. I thought you don't get charged until it ships? Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
Asked by Chris.
- A:Answer They place a hold on the card for the amount then remove it later. It is then reapplied when the console is in preparation and then finalized shortly after.
Answered by Chris
Q: QuestionWhen I called the store they said you have to put 50$ down. But on line it's saying the whole amount in full is that true?
Asked by Weaj06.
- A:Answer I paid $0 down, reserving my Scorpio edition with only my credit card. No charge on card until the game ships about a week before launch day, although they will put a hold for that amount and check to make sure it won't put you over your limit sporadically, so if you are living close to the edge of your credit card limit, tread carefully, as I hear they may bump you off the preorder queue if the occasional credit line check gets rejected.
