A worthy investment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could not be happier upgrading my XBOX ONE S (not trading or selling my X1S) to the XBOX ONE X Scorpio Edition. It's the only console along with the S that can play Ultra 4K physical disc. It's backwards compatible with many XBOX 360 & select OG XBOX games. I bought a Sony 4K OLED A1E 55'inch to take advance of the X1X's 4K & HDR capabilities. I've never seen a game look so visually amazing as Assassin's Creed Origins taking full advantage of X1X's 4K & HDR features. Even older games like Mirror's Edge on 360 is Enhanced and looks beautiful. I don't think I would recommend the X1X unless you own a 4K tv w/ HDR. You won't be able to take advantage of all of its benefits. I would stick with the X1S, which is no slouch. I would also recommend purchasing a external hard drive with at least 4 TB of memory. The games that are XBOX ONE X Enhanced take up A LOT more space on your HDD. The internal 1 TB is not enough to retain but a few titles that are large in storage requirements. One more note. I would highly recommend 4K tv owners with HDR to keep HDR set to "Auto". If turned on it may make non supported HDR titles look weird with the colors. Speaking for my Sony 4K it automatically recognized my games that were HDR compatible and turn it on when they were in play such as AC:Origins, FF XV, & Dead Rising 4.

4K !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was able to get my hands on the Day 1 edition , system looks real nice and performs great. The xb1x enhanced games look great on my OLED TV ! The only issue so far is playing regular dvds on it . I'm noticing lip sync issues where the actors lips and the words do not match up no matter the configuration. Once I put a Blu-ray or a 4k ultra disc it works perfect. Other then that no complaints.

A Console To Grow Into
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a Microsoft console owner since the original Xbox, so I've consider myself something of a connoisseur. I've bought "Launch Day" consoles in each generation and the XB1 was no exception. I was thinking about upgrades and was ready to move on towards the S model. Then the rumors started coming out about "Scorpio"...so I held off...and I'm glad I did. The best way I can describe the XBox 1 X is as a console you can "grow into". If I'd bought the S, I know I would have been disappointed, even angry when the 1 X came out. I don't have a 4K TV yet, but we will. I know the extra power in the console will be used in the near future. It certainly has made Sony look over their shoulder. I like the new controller. It's just a touch smaller than the Xbox One, but it feels tighter and more responsive. The interface is zippy and feels tight also. One of the things I've VERY happy about...and this may not seem like a big deal...but not having to clear out space for a power BRICK is FANTASTIC. Overall, I'm happy with the console and look forward to really putting it through the paces.

Fantastic piece of hardware!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always enjoyed my Xbox One. Since recieving the One X i have finally put my Samsung KS8000 4K television to some good use. The games (that have been patched) look amazing in 4K and run very smooth. Playing Tomb Raider and FFXV in 4K is like playing the games new all over again.

Nothing special
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always buy special edition game consoles , there is nothing special other then it says project Scorpio in small print . The controller is the same way, just as boring , makes no special sounds . Fan is already making a buzzing sound at times . I have it laying flat on the tv stand . I figure it’s going to burn up . Other then the 4-k part of it which looks great , I am more happy with my Xbox 1 call of duty edition I bought New Years ago , loading times from disk or over hardwire take just as long on the new one , but I will say it’s still not as bad as my PlayStation 4 .

The most powerful console in the world
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft did a great job with the Xbox One X, they promised incredible graphics and they were able to do it! I'm satisfied with this console. Also, if you have a Samsung SUHD or QLED TV, you will be able to enjoy it much more.

Amazing Amount Of Power In One Little Box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First thing I've noticed was the weight of the console. It is surprisingly heavy. Only explanation I can think of why it's so heavy is the amount of power this console has once I turned it on. It's like night and day when comparing a few of my games I have for the original Xbox One and S to the X. The graphics are amazing and the system is extremely quiet also. I'm so glad this day finally arrived and very pleased with my purchase. Can't wait to see what Microsoft has in store for Xbox coming 2018.

starsBest console ever made (so far)!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It deliever on its true 4k promise. It's a well designed and manufactured console. It is slightly smaller than Xbox One S, yet way more powerful. It's quiter during idle + Video Playback and just a little louder under load compared to the Xbox One S. It's power consumption is on par with the original (fat) Xbox One. It benefits both 1080p and 4k TV user.

Q: QuestionWhat's the difference Xbox one x and Xbox scorpion
Asked by Kacimo.
- A:Answer The Xbox one X Project Scorpio is a limited edition Xbox one X. Same console just comes with a vertical stand and Project Scorpio letting on the console and controller.
Answered by MoeJoe
Q: QuestionAny idea on the date it ships, for those of us who were able to get the pre-order in?
Asked by RyanH.
- A:Answer It looks like they are shipping them depending on how far you live from the distribution center, so that you get it on November 7th. If you live next door to the place it's shipping from it will most likely ship on the 6th and the further you live, the earlier it will ship out to you.

Q: QuestionWhat are the differences between the two models? There’re priced the same.
Asked by mthrfcs.
- A:Answer The Project Scorpio is more of a collectors item, the differences are that the Project Scorpio is hand screen printed (will have a different texture), come with a stand to put it vertical which is for the Scorpio edition only, and of course has the custom printed controller and console.

Q: QuestionI'm not sure if this can get answered but what kind of performance should I get out of my samsung KU6500 with the x1x? Will it be top notch or middle of the road? Is the console even worth buying with this TV model? Thanks.
Asked by ProjectMayhem.
- A:Answer I checked out your Tv's specs and it appears that it does support hdr content which is exactly what you'll need in order to get the most out of the Xbox one X. Input lag on the ku6500 is relatively low aslong as you change your settings to game mode when playing. Granted, it isn't a top tier 4k tv by any means.( mid range) Regardless, I'd say your overall experience should be pretty good.("middle of the road") If you want to get the xbox one x, I say go for it. The only way I can justify not getting the it, is not having a 4k tv at all!

Q: QuestionSo we were told that this edition would only be sold in August however, this became available today so I ordered one which I have confirmation of. Should I be afraid that my order might get cancelled since this could be an error or will I get this ed?
Asked by Gino.
- A:Answer I preordered it as well. About 40 minutes after preorders went live, the preorder option for the scorpio edition disappeared. So I assumed that if it was a glitch, my order would have been cancelled but so far nothing has happened so it seems legit. Maybe some people cancelled their preorders for the scorpio edition and there were a few extras left?
Answered by JustARandomGuy
Q: QuestionWe’re can you order more controllers for the Xbox one x if you need more then one controller.
Asked by Jesscarr24.
- A:Answer The xbox one x uses same hardware as all the other xbox one consoles. It's the same controller as the xbox one.
