Customers are saying
Customers frequently mention the Xbox Series S’s affordability, compact size, and improved graphics compared to previous models. The console’s disc-free nature, the inclusion of a Fortnite and Rocket League bundle, and the value of the Game Pass Ultimate subscription are also well-received. However, the limited storage space, potential heating issues, and occasional controller issues have been noted as drawbacks.

TRULY NEXT GEN
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I been trying to upgrade from my old xbox one to a PS5 for the exclusives but after this christmas i quit because of how hard they are to find ill just wait till they are in store but i still wanted to upgrade so i checked out the series s and Lemme just say xbox is killin it rn so much content packed in one powerful little machine it downloads games , starts up the system and games faster than the Series X and Ps5 , gameplay is buttery smooth graphics are crisp on 1080p and 4k 120 FPS displays . It just feels next gen and to good to be true for 300$ the only downside is memory and no disc drive but i dont mind being digital and i bought a 2tb seagate expansion for 50$ at target and now i dont have that problem so no reason to buy the Series X unless u have an expensive OLED 8k tv or just prefer discs save yourself some money you wont regret it . Now i just need a ps5 to sit next to my Series S

Nice Budget Box
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series S really is a budget box. Perfect option if you travel and don’t want to take a large Series X with you. Or if you are a casual gamer and like cloud gaming. It actually would be a great system for pediatric doctors or facilities to have available in their waiting rooms. While I do like the Series S and don’t regret my purchase, I will add the Series X to my gaming collection in the future. But If you are comparing the Series S to the Series X, buy the Series X for sure. I will tell you why. The front of the Series S holds a USB port, a pairing button, and a power button. There's no optical drive slot, as this is a digital-only system. The back holds two more USB ports, an HDMI output, an Ethernet port, a slot for expanding the storage, and a connector for the power cable. The included Xbox Wireless Controller is identical to the one that comes with the Series X, with color being the only exception. Backwards compatible, you can play all Xbox One games except for the ones that require Kinect. The Series S' SSD means fast load times. It is amazing. I have tested the loading time against my Xbox One and it is crazy fast. Sadly the SSD is only 512GB compared with the Xbox Series X’s 1TB drive. You can expand storage as I have, which now turns the $299 budget box into $399 - $499 which becomes the price of an Xbox Series X, but lacks the graphical advantages. Bottom line, I don’t regret buying the Xbox Series S as I like how compact it is and I can easily take it with me wherever I go. The $299 price tag and easier availability of this system makes it tempting to buy. But with the smaller drive, the fact you will likely have to buy a hard drive to go with it (now or in the future), and the lack of the graphical advantages that the Series X has, I would pass on the Series S and get yourself the Series X.

A million times, YESSSSSS!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best system EVER!!! Quickest system I've ever owned!!! Controller is SOOOOO comfortable... ergonomics are EVERYTHING when it comes to FPS games (WAY better than PS4 and 5, although I still love playstation). Reliable as hell too! I've owned it for a while now and haven't had any issues. Although, in hindsight, I should've gotten the Series X... only because digital versions of games NEVER go on sale! Had to buy WWII for the 3rd time because I had already bought it for 2 PS4s (mine and my son's). Unfortunately, while the physical copy of the game was under $20 already (last year) the digital version was $100!!! Uuuuughhhh!!! Other than that though, totally worth it! If you have the cash to upgrade to the X though, I'd say do it! The cost of games far offsets the initial purchase price. But if you're looking not to break the bank and love Fortnite and Fall Guys like I do (haha) it's more than worth it!!! Plus, there's a bunch of free online games and other monthly full game subs. No disappointments or regrets!!!

Meets expectations, great system.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased Xbox S solely for MS Flight Sim 2020 and have not been disappointed. As a non-gamer, the Xbox S fit my needs perfectly. It is affordable, small, lightweight, and slim making placement very easy and accessible.

Lightweight and sleek
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast. Easy to travel with. I literally put it in my bag for under the airplane seat. It is sleek and has been running strong for a few years now almost. Appreciate the extra Fortnite items included . I use it for Spectrum, Netflix , and Fortnite so i have plenty of space still remaining.

Small powerful system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to pick it up since it’s been out of stock for so long and it’s amazing! The controller feels great, the system is just beautiful. Powerful digital gaming system. The only thing I would complain about is the storage. Did get this because I saw flight simulator and it’s awesome on the series s and also WWE 2K22 is coming out but overall this Xbox is great value!

Overall
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The series s... first off the fastest loading times i have expericned, downloaded FH5 in about an hour give or take, with roughly an average rate of 170mbps. I still honestly have yet to play it but im eager to crack open Forza for my first ever game on my first ever xbox... the image quality out if the box is ama8zng it defintily is a high quality 1440p roughly in tbat area comijg from a ps4 i used heavliy everyday i know what 1080p looks like and to say the Ui is so smooth and buttery on the series s with having to pixel peep to actually notice any slightly off detial, colors are beatiful, literally silent, game pass is amaing also the controller is smaller and more confrotable than i was expecting. People make it seem like a hollow piece of trash online but in hand it feels miles better than my dulahsock4 nof even close and it is definitely a treat for the eyes to look at: a beautiful console nontheless.

Q: QuestionCan i order this online or pick up
Asked by Hazard.
- A:Answer Yes, keep and eye for that Yellow button, people waited for months on the recent Halo Infinite console release and it never happened. It went from Coming Soon to In-Store Only and the button stay gray. And then it went from In-Store Only to Sold Out, and guess what, it is still gray. I am not a scalper or use bots, and I am not interested in this console at all. Just make sure you are sitting down while you wait for that yellow button.

Q: QuestionCan this unit be pre ordered
Asked by Angie.
- A:Answer I would not get my hopes up Angie. The XBOX HALO INFITE LIMITED EDITION said coming soon for months, then on release day about 5/6 AM it changed to In Stores only sale. Furthermore, item was only available in selected stores throughout the US. It might require you to travel long distances before getting to the store with a sudden notice. Some people were not even in the 250 miles radius to get one. Need to be ready to drop everything and not show up for work, school, etc. If you have children, make sure someone watch them for you on release date, You might want to camp out from midnight, maybe get a so call ticket, even if the store hours says they open at 10AM, don’t wait and just go. Hopefully you will be at the right BB store and get one. This is no Halo Limited edition but, with the high demand of consoles who knows how fast they will go. It is messed up how the Halo console launch happened but it is just the true. Refer to the so called salty people in the reviews for the Halo console.

Q: QuestionDoes the xbox series s console come with this or is it only the games?
Asked by MoonD.
- A:Answer The bundle comes with the Xbox Series S console, power cable, HDMI cable, one controller, and digital downloads.
Answered by MochaBailey
Q: QuestionWill this be able to purchase online or do you have to physically go to a store for it.
Asked by WoLfSlayZ.
- A:Answer You probably will have to wait until release date which is 12/2/2021 to find out. You also might need to guess the time the webpage will suddenly change on release date from Coming Soon to one of the following: In-Store Only, or Add to cart (Yellow button). In addition, hope that the item is available at a BB store within your 250 miles radius. You might need to drive more than an hour to get it. Good luck.
