These are pretty basic and get the job done. The camo is just a different color, but they're basically identical to the T51VP3 radios so if you want to read more reviews, check those out. The advertised range on any radio of this caliber is going to be way off what you get in real life. So don't buy them expecting to get anywhere near the 28 miles. I would guess that these will be fine for a couple of miles in a real-life situation. I got these on clearance so the price was right and I can't complain. It's nice that they have plenty of privacy codes and I like that there is a usb port on the side to charge them on the go with a standard (dated) miro-usb cable. You can of course also get regular AAAs to work.
