A U.S. marine (Armie Hammer) is trapped behind enemy lines in the desert following a botched mission, and accidentally steps on a land mine. In order to survive, he has to stand completely still while fighting off enemy forces until an extraction team can reach him. Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro directed this war thriller.~Daniel Gelb
It was kind of ridiculous for someone to to step on a mine and stand there for 53 hours or so. The fact that they were seen to begin with and chased into desert was stupid.
Over all it was entertaining and well acted. The extra content was worth seeing.
Armie Hammer is an excellent actor. Good work in making this a character you care about almost from the start of the movie. Won't give away the details, since that spoils it for some, but I would buy this, especially at a sale price.
A Marine Sniper Team is exfiltrating in the desert after a failed-mission and the Sniper-Spotter steps on a Land Mine resulting in his death. The Sniper subsequently steps on a Mine, but realizes what has happened – he “freezes” but must remain in-place until rescued – a 52 hour wait for a Med-Evac by a scheduled passing of a patrol. It’s a story of self-determination, discipline, and fortitude to survive in the bleakest of circumstances with minimum equipment and supplies.
Unless your bored to death.. this movie is and was a waste of funds. No one uses a junk bottom of the line scope like this soldier did with a rifle that has a standard Remington action on it.. really...at least they could have used something like a leupold or usoptics
The movie at the beginning was OK However, as the movie continued, it got slow and sort of boring. The actor in the movie did a good job but there is only so much one can do when one can't move since he believe he has stepped on a bomb. I'd give the movie a C.
Not a bad movie but not a great movie Good Time killer for some mild entertainment little strange to follow until it clicks about three-quarters of the way through the movie Army as usual a b-rate actor trying to break into THE A CLASS
