Good solid vacuum
|Posted .Bought this as a replacement for a mid-high level Electrolux Ergorapido (battery wouldn't hold charge after 5 years). The Electrolux had adequate suction, looked good, and similar 2 in 1 function (stick or handheld vac). The Hoover performs similarly to our old Electrolux, with some pros and cons of each below: Hoover Pros - bigger dust cup, can vacuum with the brush rollers on (carpet) or off (hardwoods, etc.) which means not having to remove dog hair out of the brush as frequently, good suction (maybe a little better than the Electro), replaceable battery, very maneuverable cleaning head. Electrox Pros - better looking, better construction (feels more solid than the hoover) Reviews that criticize the Hoover's design for getting clogged have a little merit as pet hair does quickly stick to the filter when using. However, suction is still fine for a quick job despite this. You will definitely want to empty the cup after each use if you have a long haired pet like I do, but that goes for the Electrolux as well. There are certainly parts of the Hoover that feel cheaply made and I'm more worried about long term durability than I was with the Electrolux. Time will tell on that.

So far okay
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI only had this for a little over couple of weeks. It's definitely not for a deep clean but more for a quick clean up. And for its purpose, it does its job. It's convenient and lightweight so it's easy to handle. I think the multi cyclone is fairly effective but the overall size of the bin capacity is small so expect to empty it often. Also, like any other cyclone designs, the mesh in the bin will get caked on with dust so that's a lil inconvenient. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product.

Multi Utility Vaccum
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis Vacuum Cleaner is handy and useful either on carpet, Sofa and also it come handy to vaccum outdoor like cars or picnic spots. One vaccum serves multi purpose and battery backup is sufficient for 1 use for detailed vaccum at home and it has to be charged again. Only improvement what I think of is more sucking power will definitely makes this vaccum the top list.

Great vac, average battery life
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendMy only complaint with this vac is that the battery life. It seems like every time I go to use it, the battery is near dead. Definitely more a function of the previous user forgetting to put the battery on the charger than anything else. It would be nice if the charging unit was integrated with the vac so the battery didn't have to be removed to charge.

Very Maneuverable for Spot Vacuuming
|Posted .We went into our local Best Buy expecting to buy another cordless vac that had been favorably reviewed online, but when we saw this one and took the display model for a spin, it compared favorably to the one we intended to buy--lighter, more maneuverable. Unfortunately, we couldn't test the actual vacuuming power because the display models weren't charged, so this one could be inferior to the one we planned to buy. But it seems sufficient for the spot-cleaning purpose we bought it for. It won't replace the more powerful full-sized vacuum cleaners, but for the usual small spills, it's sufficient and much easier than lugging the beast vac out of the closet, crawling under table to plug it in, etc. It's undoubtedly too soon to tell how well it, especially the battery, will last.

wonderful
|Posted .Was not expecting a great vacuum, just something quicker than sweeping every day and not having to bend over with a dust pan or worry about cords. The charge is adequate to do whole house on a charge and it does a fantastic job.

Overall the cleaning it’s really good it performs grade again the only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that it doesn’t tell you how much battery there is left

Great Cordless Vac-Battery life stinks
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI love this cordless vac. It has great suction and picks up all the dog hair that is all over my wood floors. It's exactly what I was looking for with one exception. The battery runs out really quickly. I almost returned it because of it but I have decided to try to find a second battery. For the money, this vac can't be beat.
Q: QuestionThis item has worked great until a week ago. With a fully charged battery the vacuum would shut off after a few seconds of use. It only seems to shut off when the handheld is in the stick vaccum. When I use the handheld by itself it works fine. Any help?
Asked by Mike.
- A:Answer There are many complaints about this in reviews on various sites. I've found the problem to be in the connection between the handle and the vacuum body. If you remove the one bolt that holds the handle onto the body, you may see the same thing. The bolt is behind the accessory tool on the back side of the handle. Remove the accessory tool and bolt. Turn the vacuum to the on position. If it doesn't turn on, pull up on the handle slightly as if you are removing the handle. You will find the vacuum turns on. Push back down on the handle and it shuts off. There is a flaw in the way the handle attaches to the body. If you remove the handle completely, you'll see 3 prongs inside the end of the handle. These prongs insert into a 3 hole receptor on the body. I used needle nose pliers to gently/slightly bend each of the 3 prongs. This has solved the problem for now. I'm still looking for a permanent fix.

Q: QuestionHow powerful is the vacuum. Is it able to pick up dog hair?
Asked by Jynx.
- A:Answer Yes, I have a golden retriever and it picks up dog hair like crazy. I'm always amazed at how much dog hair is in the cup after each use and I vacuum probably every 2-3 days. It does better on hard floors (woods, tile, etc.). Also does great on low profile carpets and rugs. I like that it has two modes, one with the brush rolling and one without. I run it without the brush rolling when I do the hardwoods and tile areas, which means I don't have to pull the dog hair out of the brush nearly as often as I did with our last stick vac (which always ran with the brush rolling). Hope that helps!
