I gave info about make and model when I scheduled my install appt, that took a few weeks before they could fit me in. I drove 1 1/2 hours to geek squad install only to find out once there that this car starter wouldn't work with Mitsubishi cars. Asked why they didn't tell me that when I called to scheduled. He said that is the salesman's job. You can only buy product online. They wasted their time and mine. And I did not know that a yearly fee needed to be paid in order to use smartphone feature .

After ordering product and scheduling installation, a geek squad tech called and said it would not work on a Lexus. They had tried it on one the previous week and didn't get it to work. So hey best but maybe the language so say fits SOME vehicles

I bought this and had to return it because geek squad could not verify that I could have this added and also maintain proximity sensor and function of the button on my door handle. I really just want the app feature and not the remote.
