I received the item quickly and was able to activate it and link it to my phone and MyFitnessPal account without any issues. All the data you can access that the Misfit tracks is available through their app, which isn't completely awful, but I would have preferred access to a website as well. I wore the Misfit Flash everyday, all day, for about two weeks. I only took it off to shower. It was never submerged in water (although it states it is waterproof to a certain degree anyway). The sleep tracker seemed iffy so I pretty much ignored that information on the app. It would have been nice for the Misfit and the app to automatically sync, but alas you have to go into the app and request for it to sync in order for it to show any data for that day. The steps seemed like they were accurate, but I didn't track them any other way so I have no real way of knowing. For the price, I was content with what I had, even though it wasn't what I may have wanted. This morning I went to sync the Misfit and it would not sync. The lights on the front of the Misfit would not light up at all. The last time I synced it was yesterday and everything was fine, including a full battery. I tried to troubleshoot, but ultimately, it's just not worth the time or effort. I've had a Fitbit Zip in the past, and for twice the price (at least at the moment) it is so much better on every level, even if it doesn't track sleep, which at this point I don't even care about. If you're looking for a cheap fitness tracker, I would recommend a regular ol' pedometer over this Misfit Flash.

I bought two of these and fought my way through its deficiencies until two days ago when they updated the app making it unusable as in it would not synch. I bought the second one after my first failed within 4 months. I contacted customer service and got no response but figured at the price it was worth trying again because these are soo cheap. First the belt clip is not secure. I lost mine three times in the first two days. I modified the clip by adding a chain to it as a back up. Over my six months four clips failed, as in broke apart. The day the app update rendered synching impossible I wore it on the wrist strap. Sometime that day the strap broke and I lost the device. I will not be replacing it again. Until yesterday I would have written at least the wrist strap is secure but it is not. It's Ok if you want to give fitness tracking a quick try, like looking for small things and want a built in excuse for stopping. Pros It is cheap Cons In a nutshell in its current situation it is defective in every component and not useable.

I LOVED my Misfit Flash! I wore it 24/7, even in the shower. It really motivated me to workout more and watch my steps and calorie burn increase. Well, the first (and only) time I wore it in the pool was the last time it worked. I tried drying it out, taking the battery out and dry it as well, and nothing. Luckily, I caught it on sale for $15, so I'm not too upset. I'm giving the product another try, but with the Speedo Shine this time. Fingers crossed...!
