I have always been a huge fan of the show since I first saw it during the very early days of Adult Swim oh so many years ago, and if you're reading this there's a good chance you already know what the show is about. Andy, the twenty-something slacker big brother to nerdy teenager Kevin, is living in the city with a couple roommates. Andy's parents are moving, and they want to be alone, so they send Kevin to the city to live with Andy. The two learn from each other (for better or worse), and the older brother/younger brother dynamic is pretty well represented. The show is genuinely funny and has some good heartfelt moments, and even the ancillary characters are quite memorable. If only the show had more than twelve episodes! So much untapped potential.
There is one nitpick I have with this set though, and that's the fact they didn't license any of the music that the show originally aired with. That means that while some episodes on TV included tunes like Judas Priest's "Breakin' the law" and REM's "Everybody Hurts" at specific moments, in the DVD they are either absent altogether or replaced with (I assume royalty-free) stock music. The one real downside I could find in this set.
Still, if you liked the show, get this set. Even without the licensed tunes, it stands the test of time.
