Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had high hopes for the Mohu AirWave because our kitchen TV location does not permit the use of a cable from the wall jack without stringing it across the living and dining rooms, but it never performed and I had to return it. My Best Buy store recommended this Mohu Leaf 50 as a replacement, and we are very pleased with it. We were able to place it where we wanted to with good reception, and for most of its run I could disguise the cable that must be used to connect the antenna to the TV by running it above the crown molding. I painted the antenna itself to make it less conspicuous. We are able to receive around 30 broadcast channels, including all major ones, and for the most part the picture and audio are very clear. Overall, we are very happy with this product.

Easy to setup / 26 local channels for free - WOW!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally decided to cut the cord and installed this OTA antenna to get all the local channels in combination with an AirTV and Sling TV to fully cut the cord with cable and works perfectly! Took about 15-20 minutes to try it in 4-5 different positions and 2 different walls to see where I got the best signal. You just need to rescan for channels each time you move it which just takes about 2 mins. I actually ended up getting the best reception with it flat against the ceiling inside a book case on an exterior wall (see pic) and works like a champ. Can't even see it unless you put your head in the book case. No idea I would pickup so many channels with a slim lightweight antenna - 26 local channels for free! Will pay for itself in basically a month... sweet!

Poor reception
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product to use with my TiVo OTA and it did not perform as advertised. It was supposed to be an Multi-Directional antenna, but I found I could only get it to work if it was directed right at the transmission tower. Being off path slightly caused the signal to deteriorate and not be usuable. Therefore, when having TV stations on different towers, it was impossible to get all channels. I am within 25 miles of the TV towers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market and have no issue with the "old fashion bow-tie type UHF antenna. I just thought this would be a good one because it is flat and Multi-Directional (it's not). So, I wouldn't recommend it.

THREE TIMES A CHARM!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the third Leaf antenna I have purchased and have no regrets. This was for my bedroom TV , could only view 10-12 channels with my standard rabbit ears, with this Leaf antenna 51 channels! I would buy this again.

Great Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent antenna. Picks up a lot of stations. I get all of the local channels and more. As a matter of fact I picked up 65 stations that I were not getting prior to buying. A good choice for cord cutters.

So easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple to use, go online and put in your ZIP code @ nocable.org, figure out whether it is worth it for you. I put mine up on the wall and got 34 channels for free! AND in HD! And each channel has a little text on it as it tunes, most of the time its title, date released, etc, all helpful! I was amazed and cut my cable bill in half. This product is easy to set up, and comes with everything, even the little pins to hang it up! Seriously, figure out which one you need (distance from services) go to Best Buy, buy it, read the little paper and in like 5 minutes you're up and running. SO easy, works perfect, exactly what I needed!!

Q: QuestionDoes this device need to be near a window? My TV is in the middle of my house and I can't hang it by a window without the cord going across a doorway
Asked by h2ofisch.
- A:Answer Nope, mine is right behind the media chest 1 foot off the ground. Picked up 100 channels in Houston.

Q: QuestionWhat does the actual antenna attach to? I understand the cable end plugs into the TV, but what does the floppy flat thing attach to? (Wall?, TV, or?)
Asked by Horse Mom.
- A:Answer The "floppy flat thing" is the antenna. Mine came with some push pins (there are tiny holes in the top two corners) and velcro stickers for one side of the antenna. You'll need to move the antenna around until you pull in the maximum number of channels in your area. Do a new channel scan every time you move the antenna. The site, www.antennapoint.com, lets you put in your zip code and will show you the location and distance of the TV transmission towers in your area.

Q: Questioncan you hook up multiple tv`s to this antenna?can you hook up multiple tv`s to this antenna?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Typically the Leaf 50 is not robust enough to support multiple televisions without losing some channels or experiencing pixelation. We generally suggest one antenna per TV.

Q: Questionif i place the antenna on the wall behind my wall mounted tv would i still get a good reception?
Asked by bob.
- A:Answer This antenna seems to work anywhere. I first placed it high above my tv but doesn't look attractive. To conceal, it's now behind my media chest about 1 foot off the ground. Amazingly, signal is strong as my picture is spectacular on local channels

Q: QuestionCAN I PUT THIS ANTENNA IN THE GARAGE ATTIC AND GET A GOOD RECEPTION?
Asked by CJJ1954.
- A:Answer As long as you live in an area with good access to over the air signals you can put an antenna almost anywhere. As long as your attic has no metal heat shields or a metal roof you should have a great chance at reception.
