Great Rock Music!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great cd. Every song rocks. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. Best KISS lineup. (Fan since 75) Produced by Paul Stanley. No outside writers. Recorded in analog. Recorded live in studio. Just straight in your face rock and roll.. Best KISS cd to date. Would have charted #1 were it not for music piracy. Can't wait for the Monster Tour 2013!

Solid Rock and Roll! Classic!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My review rating is based purely on the music, not the shopping experience. Best Buy originally listed this CD with a 13th track called "Right Here Right Now," but there was no CD and could not get BB to answer my questions. Now to the music! Every song is a solid rock and roll hit song! This is KISS at their best since the 70's! Freak is a song you can relate to and has an important message about bullying. Hell Or Hallelujah is straight out rock! Wall of sound has a mean blast of music that will make you feel like you hit a wall. Take Me Down Below is a Gene and Paul song that has a thumping bass that matches your heartbeat. This one will have you singing along with the band. My favorite is the Eric Singer tune called All For the Love of Rock and Roll! This is a anthem that we can dive into and believe that we are living in the 70's again! Overall, the songs are solid and should be well worth the dollars to buy. Aside from the false advertisement on the 13th track, I love the Monster!

very solid album!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very cohesive and solid album and it is perhaps the best kiss album in years. I don't think that it is fair to rate this album 1 one or two stars based on the ad done by best buy cause it does not have to do anything with the great music on this cd. Notice that all the reviewers stated that the cd was great but they were mad about the best buy ad. Monster is the best rock album done in years by any rock group in history.

Not what was advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, the music is good, so that's not the problem. It's the fact that I preordered the Best Buy Edition and paid more on the prospect of an advertised bonus track that was never there. Unfortunately, I opened the CD, hoping that the bonus track was just unlisted... no such luck. If I bring this in to exchange for the 'correct' version, I would like to think that I won't get the runaround, but past experiences dictate otherwise. The lenticular cover looks amazing, but that's not why I shelled out the extra bucks. Other than those oversights, the CD is great.
