Weird, disgusting, offensive, marvelous.
||Posted .It's Monty Python, you twit. You should own it, and all other available MP titles on Blu-ray. Besides, it's one of only a handful of films I can think of in which a grotesque, morbidly obese man explodes in a shower of vomit. What's not to like?

Monty Python Funny
||Posted .I've loved this movie since I first saw it. Monty Python takes no prisoners when it comes to humor and satire. If you are offended by other poking fun at your religion or your political dogma, this is not the movie for you. If you are a fan of the old "Flying Circus" television program then this movie will be quite familiar.

Classic Python Gets Blu Treatment
||Posted .Classic Python finally gets the Blu treatment and does no disappoint. The video transfer is a big step up from the DVD version in 2003. Most all of the extras are there including a new 60 minute feature, The Meaning of Monty Python: 30th Anniversary Reunion. For the video and documentary alone this is worth the couple dollar upgrade from the DVD for true fans.

under-appreciated Monty Python classic
||Posted .The Meaning of Life for some reason seems to take a back seat to other Monty Python movies among the masses, and possibly fans also. Maybe it's because it's a collection of shorts attempting to define "the meaning of it all" . I think it's a brilliant movie ..... my favorite MP actually. Give it a chance on Blu-ray, you won't be disappointed!

One of the best
||Posted .This movie just gets funnier with age. Highly recommend picking it up. There are some versions if this that come in an 80s sleeve with some fun pop culture tidbits from that era. Haven't dug into the special features yet, but this release is supposed to have a new 60 minute feature included with the remaining cast.

The Meaning of Life?
||Posted .Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life" is a 1983 musical-sketch comedy film by the Monty Python team. The film is in the format of the troupe's original television series, loosely structured around the various stages of life, from cradle to grave, and is an excellent addition to any Monty Python fan's collection.

Lesser Python, still worth it on Blu-Ray
||Posted .Monty Python has always been a love/hate relationship for me. This is not one of the stronger of the Python films, yet for fans this blu-ray is probably worth a purchase. PQ is adequate for a blu-ray, yet it is clear not as much attention was given to this as "Holy Grail" - and that one is absolutely loaded with extra features as well (some of them in 1080p). This blu-ray is recommended, but only after Monty Python and the Holy Grail, as well as Life of Brian.
