mophie - juice pack air External Battery Case for Apple® iPhone® SE, 5s and 5 - Gold

I think the color is pretty although I am not too happy with it, although its pretty much what you see in the picture. I do love the extra battery life that it gives my phone. Without the need of having to lug around an external charger and misplacing it. I will upload some picture to give an idea of how much more bulk it adds to my phone.

I love my mophie I never leave home without it I also bought one for my child n I advertise it every chance I get lol I just really think it's a great product

I've heard great things about the mophie brand from many Verizon representatives since I'm a Verizon/iPhone owner. So I gave it a shot, went to Best Buy and even looked up and compared prices on Amazon and it turns out that Best Buy won out and I purchased my Mophie juice pack on the spot and saved a lot of money buying it at Best Buy. So I recommend everyone out there if they're looking for a case that is solid, protects your phone, and is a great alternative to buying A power pack or battery pack that is separate from their phone… Don't do it. By the mophie juice pack! you can charge your phone and the juice pack simultaneously since the case is connected to the phone. When your phone is dying you just flip a switch and your mophie juice pack will charge your phone. You don't have to worry about buying a separate power pack or battery pack from their phone and spend an unnecessary fortune… Don't do it. I can't stress it enough. By the mophie juice pack!!! It will save you the trouble of scrambling and looking for your charger and having to wait for your phone to charge. With your mophie juice pack, you have tons of battery life that will have your phone lasting all day without having to charge it once with a charger.

I bought this product to augment the daily battery life of my iPhone5. I use my phone for business and personal (like just about everyone these days). With brightness up to 50% and my normal usage, I would be running out of battery around 5pm. With the juice pack on my phone, I can crank up the brightness and not worry about running out of power even late into the evening. The reviews are mostly correct about the battery getting warm while charging the phone. It's not an issue at all for me. The sound and mic on the bottom are redirected forward by the lower half of the battery case. This actually helps when watching videos or Face timing, listening to music without headphones or talking on speaker phone. I've owned this for about 8 weeks now. I liked my experience so much, I bought one for my wife's iPhone 5 and the similar model for both of my kids' iPhone4s.

Overall, I'd recommend the Mophie charging case to anyone looking for a backup power source to today's energy-draining smartphones. As a case, the Mophie adds very little bulk to the phone while providing enough cushioning to protect the phone in the event of a fall. Charging is fairly quick and is enabled by flipping a switch on the back. It does get hot while charging is enabled. A button on the back also give you a quick indication of the charge level of the case's battery. My only complaint about the phone is that iTunes no longer recognizes the iPhone when connected to the PC via the USB connector. This means you either need to use WiFi sync or remove the bottom of the Mophie case to directly connect to the Lightning connector. This is also a problem in my car, which uses Ford's Sync for the audio system, and the iPhone is not recognized with the Mophie case attached. All in all, though, I can live with this in exchange for the added battery life.

I really like my Mophie Juice Pack. I had one for my iPhone 4. I have to say that the old one stopped working after an update that Apple did. However, this one is new and improve for the 5S. The on/off switch is easier to use. And the button on the back shows how much power the extra battery has in it. Just flick on the switch when your regular phone charge is low and you are re-charging! This one claims to be 100% extra battery --- I do not see that. But it does charge relatively quickly. Also, the power cord is not a lightning adapter. It is included, but I would consider getting a longer one (micro USB).

This product is really great; however, there are a few minor issues that may not be serious. Let's start with the pros: 1. I'm constantly having extra battery so I can use my phone twice as long or twice as much. 2. When charging the mophie, I can do it while charging my phone at the same time. 3. I can check the amount of battery I have left in the mophie. 4. I can choose when to charge it. 5. It's very durable. 6. in the inside cover is microfiber; therefore, it keeps your phone clean on the inside. 7. It charges as quick as your phone on a charger. 8. The speakers on the mophie is by Dr. Dre. 9. The phone slips in easily and taking the phone out of the case is also easy. Cons: 1. It has some weight to it so it can make your phone a bit bulky. 2. If you charge your phone from 10% to 100%, you will need to recharge the mophie completely again (constantly). 3. No large color selection. 4. The cover gets a little warm when using it to charge. None of the cons bother me because I can bring the charger to the mophie in the car and charge it, if anything and I'm used to the bulky feeling of the phone. Overall, this product is amazing. I'm able to use the mophie and share with my sister when we are both out of batteries at the same time, LOL.
