mophie - powerstation 4000 - Black

The Gen 2 Powerstation packs 4000 mAh which should fully charge an iPhone 5 ALMOST 3 times over. On a full charge and at about 10% battery on my phone, my Powerstation was nearly dead when my iPhone got to about 85%. Granted, I was using my phone for SOME texting while it was charging, but services such as WiFi, data, Bluetooth were all disabled, but that shouldn't have depleted most of the Powerstations charge before getting my phone to only 85%. For those who might we wondering, it does not allow pass-through charging (charging the Powerstation AND your device at the same time), and it only charges via a micro USB cable. I think a better design could have allowed for direct wall charging to minimize the use of cables. On a positive note, this does what it's supposed to do and would definitely work MUCH better if you enable Airplane Mode while charging to get the most out of the device. You can connect this to a wall outlet, a computer, or even your car to charge it if you want. This device is also pretty light and you wouldn't really notice the weight if you were charging your device in a bag. It also also has a pretty neat texture that seems to prevent it from scratches and smudges.

I got it in special so it was an amazing price plus it's a really good battery. It can charge my phone entirely and then some. (I have an iPhone 7plus). I like that it's not bulky, very portable and it has a pretty nice look to it.

While the best way is a Mophie case, this is a great option for those (like myself) that have a non-mophie case that they prefer. This fits nicely in a pocket or bag and does an effective job at putting you back in the game when you're running low.

I bought these on sale just before Christmas for stocking stuffers for the kids. I assumed this model was being discontinued when I bought them because of the price, but I now wonder if the weren't discontinued a while ago and have been sitting on a shelf for far to long. My wife has had a Mophie XL for about 3 years now and it is awesome so I know they make a good product, but like I said I think these are just to old. The two that do work after being charged used about 50% of the pack charging a cell phone from about near 60% to 100%.

I bought this to take on camping and kayak trips. I have used it on 3 trips now and it operates as expected. Easy to pack, small form factor, and delivers a fairly fast charge. I have found that it will drain if you leave the USB cable in without another device connected to charge. The only thing I would change is to add some additional granularity to the charge indicators. A small display with an actual percentage charge left. The 4 led lights can sometimes mislead you. But overall that is a small issue.

this is my first one of these and it works very fast to charge. i can charge my i pad or phone from deal to full in about 1 hour, which seems to be faster than a wall plug. it is light weight and is easy to carry. i am using mostly for long flights and expect it will give me up to 12 hours on a full charge. it only takes about 2 hours to charge it and it will be ready to go again.

Juices up more than one product (Galaxy Note 2 and 40% charge on Galaxy S5). Capable of charging camera twice, nice to have the back up. Phone gets hot while charging, but no noticeable effect on phones. Great for travel, small enough to fit in a small purse or pocket even a pocket. About 30% charge within 10 minutes.
