This Academy Award-winning drama concerning live in the Soviet Union during the 1950s has been given a solid presentation for its release on DVD. Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears has been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The audio has been remixed for playback in Dolby Digital 5.1. Along with the original Russian-language soundtrack, dubbed English and French tracks are included, as well as optional English subtitles. Bonus materials include a short documentary on the making of the film, filmographies for the key cast and crew members, and a gallery of production photos.

    Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears
    Moscow of the late '50s is the initial setting for this movie of three young girls out for love -- the upwardly mobile Lyuda (Irina Muravyova), the secure Tonya (Raisa Ryazanova) and the head-over-heels Katya (Vera Alentova).
