Long awaited motorsports title that's solid!
I was a as a little nervous about Capcom titling this game (no one gets punched or kicked or has fire balls hurled at them) as racing is not their forte. The game is actually pretty good and has great graphics and cool sound effects. Nice visual touches such as the rider grabing the respective levers when you brake or shift. the simulation mode really adds a depth of realism such as low-siding when diving into corners are stabbing the brakes. The replay camera is pretty cool as well. The biggest things is that it's got all the tracks including both USA courses and all the riders and bikes.
On-line racing is a good selling feature too but there is no voice support. I haven't played it on-line yet but I hope it is not plagued with the phantom cheats and teleport cheats that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has when playing on line.
Since there isn't another motorcycle racing game out right now, it's hard to put its gameplay into perspective, never-the-less I think it's a worthy effort and a must have for motorcycle racing fans!
I would recommend this to a friend

Best Sportbike game for PS3 to date
Really a good game for a sportbike fan, Has an accurate feel of raceday and is very fun to play. The bikes looks very real and actually are accurate to their real life counterparts, you can feel the desmodromic twin4 in the ducati gp08 pull hard on the straights and the yamaha M1 carve the twisties up.
the downsides were that once a career is started, you cant change basic things like race length and difficulty, as your skill level increases, it would be nice to make the AI's skills come up too. the arcade mode is also WAY too easy, if you enjoy racing all by yourself up front for 20 laps, then go that route, otherwise id use the standard or simulation modes
