Although the Moto Z3 Play is characterized in some reviews as a mid-level phone, I have found it to be quite fast with a beautiful display. Its camera might not be as good as the expensive flagships, but I am very pleased with the camera. I only wish I did not have to use a USB-C adapter for headphone use.

I have purchased the Moto Z, Moto Z2 Play, and now the Moto Z3 Play. This model was refurbished but looked brand new. However, the first one I received was defective. The device came with OEM Moto charger and moto mod battery. On top of that, I received a $40 cricket card and free Mint mobile trial. That's a $100 value. The phone was priced well below brand new, which made this a steal. Of the three Moto Z phones, this is my favorite. I was concerned about the side fingerprint scanner but it has been an easy adjustment. Unlike the first 2 gen Moto Zs, this model has a more modern full screen. Meaning the front is less bezel and more screen, which looks great. Battery life is great. With mod, I would say 2 days of moderate use would be easy. Even with heavy use, it would easily get you thru the day. I highly recommend this phone to anyone.

The Moto mod series of phones has been my favorite kind of phone to own for years and for the price, I can't complain. It's too bad the sliding keyboard and .any of the other potential mods were never produced. The best thing about this phone is the price point and the camera is very nice but can make images look a bit comical.
