Great Value
||Posted .The Motorola - Moto X Pure 4G with 64GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Bamboo, would get a 5 star rating if the battery lasted longer. It has plenty of storage for music and movies and changes between apps very fast. The screen is the one feature that sold me on this model as it is large and the touch screen seems very accurate. The camera is more than I expected from a phone and the bamboo finish gets loads of compliments.

Great phone with a great camera
||Posted .I have had a lot of Motorola smart phones from the Atrix (with the first fingerprint unlock), Atrix 2 and most recently the Moto G. I was worried about the large size of this phone as I carry it in my front pocket, but the display is great. The reception of the phone is fine. Where this phone really shines is the camera, at 21 megapixels, it is increible how much you can zoom into pictures and see details. It also record 4K video. The internal storage is huge (64GB), but also allows for up to 200GB of microSD storage! This is the best phone I have ever used.

I love my Moto X Pure Edition!!
||Posted .Outstanding standard features! Fantastic Stereo Sound !! Great camera options, just twist your hand & it's ready to go, QR & Barcode Reader are part of it. You decide a phrase/name you want for Moto Voice & train it to respond to your voice only & no touch required. Moto Voice is separate from Google Search but works seamlessly with it too. Fantastic for no hands use while driving! I love that it doesn't come with all the bloat-ware most phones have. It recharges Fast! I could go on & on but I'll let you have fun discovering the rest. Great price too!

Good phone (but supplies may be dwindling)
||Posted .I don't consider myself a brand snob, but Motorola has gotten me a little closer to being one. The main reason I bought this phone is because I had the 1st Moto X (2013), liked it, and nothing else available right now was quite what I wanted. I read stories about a new "Moto" phone coming soon, so I suspect inventory of this model is limited. It seems the price keeps dropping, so sellers must be trying to clear them out. What don't I like about it: not much, and I suspect my main gripes have to do with Android 6 and not so much this phone. I don't like that this display isn't truly dark when it flashes notifications on the lock screen, but that's rather minor. I read somewhere there was sort of a good reason for that, but I can't remember now what it was. What I like: just about pure Android. The unlocked nature of this phone avoids carrier fluff, and I REALLY prefer an interface that's close to stock Android. I did add Nova Launcher, for more customizability, but otherwise, it's very close to pure Android. And you can add a microSD card. I probably would have bought a Nexus phone, but you can't add extra memory, if I recall. Good display. Good camera. Phone call quality - good, no complaints One gripe I have is that you must look around to find cases, screen protectors, etc. You won't run across an accessory for this phone at Sam's, Target, etc., especially since it was only sold by Best Buy, Amazon and Motorola. Amazon has a good selection, but it's always a small gamble ordering from them. Fortunately the investment from that is minimal. Overall, I'm happy, no complaints here, at least with the phone. It works, it's simple, fast, expandable memory, and not outrageously priced.

Good Phone
||Posted .This is a great phone and is at a great price for what you get. There are three storage levels and for what you get with the phone , its better than some higher end phones out there. It also has a sdcard card slot , which with android M, Makes the storage even better with a SD Card

Q: QuestionCan I update this phone to Marshmallow before having it connected to a cell phone company?
Asked by PcCowboy.
- A:Answer When I got my phone, I charged the battery and fired up the phone BEFORE inserting the SIM card. I connected to wifi at my home, logged into Google, skipped whatever it let me skip, eventually got to where I could have the phone search for an Android update, then had it do the update. After that was all done, I had the phone do a factory reset, which then went to Android 6. Then I shut it off, inserted the SIM card and went on with it. CAVEAT: I'm not totally sure about all the features that are different with Android 6 compared to 5, but one gripe I have with 6 is that whenever you are near an open wifi network, the phone has an audible alert THAT YOU CAN'T SHUT OFF, at least not that I have found, even when it's not supposed to notify me of available public networks. On my phone, it sounds like an incoming text. I'm sure there are other features with 6 that I enjoy or are useful, but this is one "feature" that is an annoyance. Just FYI.

Q: QuestionReceptionHow is the reception on this phone? I live in a rural country town. I know a lot has to do with towers but some phones seem to work better than others.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I bought one of these when they came out last September (2015). I, also, live in a rural area. My reception is as good, if not better, than any phone I have had in the past. I really like the phone. The only negative is that if you load it down with apps the battery life suffers. The display is great, the sound is very good and the screen size is wonderful for a phone that fits in a shirt pocket.
