The bright setting lights up my woods. The on/off button system is less desirable. You have to hold the button for a four count to turn it on. A three count is for off. Wearing winter gloves makes this cumbersome. The button is hard to find. I just put it on before walking the dog so I keep my gloves on.

I actually bought a diff brand light and it was DOA. Returned it to best buy & saw this Motorola light. It was $20 cheaper, 1000 lumens, & rechargeable batt. It was a blessing in disguise. Bright light, good quality and price!

I like that its bright and i have dropped it several times and until now it hasnt broken. The only thing i dont like and gave it 4 stars is that to turn it on you have to keep pressing the on button for 3 seconds for it to turn on/off. Also the button would be easier to find if it was raised above . Its hard to turn on when you are in a dark room, because looking for the on buttor feels the same as the charging port.
