Five USB 3.1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.1 Type-C port maximize high-speed devices
Also includes two USB 2.0 ports to connect more accessories and peripherals. The USB 3.1 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices (at 2.0 speeds).

Bang for the buck!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. Was looking for a gaming computer as a Christmas gift for my teenager son. Browsed the selections on display at Best Mira Mesa, read all the reviews for each model and finally rounded to two choices...this MSI and Cyberpower. Upon consultation with an IT friend and checking all the specs,MSI got the nod. Originally priced at $1,499 but due to Christmas sale/discounts ongoing, was able to get it for $1,169.99. A saving of almost $300. Not bad. Performance was superb as expected and almost a month after purchase, it has been seamless so far. Will see how it goes down the road but for now, my son is a happy gamer.

MSI Aegis R
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Purchased Xmas 2019 this thing still running strong purchased accidental coverage as well. I was a fan of Alienware but not so much anymore MSI has built a nice value based gaming pc that you can’t get from Dell (Alienware) price wise

Great Gaming Rig
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I bought this computer to start PC gaming and streaming on Mixer. I am able to play all my games at maximum graphics and performance with no issues. I use this to stream as well and I have no issues at all! I stream at max settings and have no lag, the video and audio are crystal. Note: I did upgrade the CPU cooler to a Corsair H115i Pro RGB Liquid Cooler, and I upgraded my RAM to G.Skill 32GB DDR4 Trident Z Royal 3200Mhz to help optimize my performance.

A decent pre-built system.
||Posted .Pros: The MSI 390-A pro motherboard this system comes with is a solid board that supports up to 4400mhz of ram with 4 slots and 6 sata3 ports. The case is super easy to build in if you chose to upgrade anything. Cons: The case runs really hot and the air flow isn't very good. The cpu cooler is garbage and the thermal paste job on mine was super bad. The included power supply will need to be upgraded first before you upgrade any of the components like the GPU. The I7 9700 isnt the K version so no overclocking the cpu. Overall: I like this system. As far as a starter computer that you want to dip your toes into the madness that is building gaming pcs this is almost it*. Great to learn on and upgrade, but at the same time its 1500 and for that price you can build your own pc with all of the things that will set you up for the long run.

Great Rig, little problems.
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Everything worked great, except I had one bad display port and that made me frustrated a bit while setting up. Switched to a different port and works fine. The colors are nice, but I may have to contact MSI, as I had problems trying to mess with the RGB in the rig to work with Mystic light as advertised, but hey I’ll take the different LED setting on the case itself for now, would eventually like to set it to sync with music though. The cooling setup is amazing, keeping it down to 38-60 Celsius barely goes to the high 60’s would probably update later if possible but most likely not needed. Along with motherboard not so great but ok motherboard, and Ram, but those are things that can be upgraded later down the line. Also gives you easy access to the inside, and easily upgradable, which is something I look forward to in the near future. The keyboard and mice are a nice bonus, and also decent enough to start with, but look into upgrading to a better keyboard/mice eventually. My rig had Bluetooth capability was happy to find that out, especially since the motherboard used, and in the specification it mentions no Bluetooth connection so that being a big plus as I was able to connect it to my Bose Soundwear companion which I was looking forward to using it with. Overall great rig to start off with, with easy access and customization, nice lights and cooling system, along with the price makes this a easily great buy for a majority of the hardware this rig is pushing. Would recommend if looking to spend some money but not break the bank on a computer at the moment.

Love this new MSI Gaming Desktop!
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I recently upgraded my gaming rig to this new Aegis RS system and could not be happier. The 1TB SSD is fantastic and together with the new RTX 2060 Super video card and 9th Gen I7 it seems like my old games have new life running at max resolution. I would also say this system is much quieter than my previous even with all fans spinning at max RPM. I thought about going with another brand (i.e. Alienware) but the specs on this system at the price was perfect and does everything I want. The only thing I would like to have gotten was a CD/DVD for loading music or older games but I dont mind an external. Thanks MSI for creating a GREAT gaming system!

Good overall
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. The PC is good overall. But Upon looking at it after I took it out of the box the Wi-Fi card with Louis and didn’t have any screws and the graphics card didn’t have any screws. After fixing that and PC is really fast and really responsive I would buy it again but I wish I miss I will have it ready to go when they ship them.
