Customers recognize the AMD Radeon RX 6800 GAMING X TRIO's excellent performance in gaming and content creation applications, with many praising its ability to deliver high frame rates and smooth gameplay at high resolutions. The card's effective cooling system is also frequently highlighted as a positive attribute. However, some customers find the cost to be excessive.
Great card, Stays cool. You DONT need Msi Dragon app, unless you want to modify the stock out of the box RGB lighting. Coming from a 2060super, this card was a significant improvement. I game on 1440, the 2060s played well at med settings, now im on ultra and seeing double the frame rate. Depending on title, i can max my 165hz Omen 27i out on majority of titles. this GPU pairs well with 6core and better (Ryzen 3600), i personally paired it with a 3900x and a X570 To use the full potential of PCIe 4.0 speeds. You CAN run this on a PCIe 3.0 slot, there are a few YT videos showing just a slight reduction in speed, throughput and frames. Overall super happy with the card, picked it up on a flash sale for $769, although i cant figure out the "Original" MSRP of this card, im guessing it was around the $650 range on release day.....so slightly over MSRP is a deal. At current price today, its NOT worth 999, you can get a 6900xt at MSRP for that price. under $800 the card is a good value.

I have held off for awhile adopting AMD products due to their constant bios and driver issues. Not to say Intel or Nvidia dont also have issues but not to the degree or consistency of AMD. But I really liked their new GPUs so I thought I would try the 6800 and I regretted it as soon as I put it in my case. Instant software and driver issues. Insane hitching and inconsistent frames. The card stayed very cool but the driver issues ruined the card. Constant crashing and bluescreening. I returned the 6800 and picked up a RTX 3080 and was plug and play, no crashing or blue screen issues. I tried to give AMD a chance and they let me down.
