Bought this card for my first self built pc, moved up from the 1060 3gb and there is a gigantic difference in performance. I'm able to easily play at the highest settings in games such as overwatch, subnautica, and PUBG with no problem at all. I've also been able to stream my games on high settings with no problem at all at 1080. My monitor is also locked at 60hz and 1080 as well so keep that in mind, I've heard it performs very well with 144hz monitors thought so that shouldn't be an issue. The card also comes with 3 DisplayPort ports and only one HDMI port, no DVI ports at all so that is definitely something to look for depending on your monitor setup. But if you don't use DisplayPort you can always get adapters. The fans themselves are also very quiet and only turn on when the card is under load, keeping your system relatively quiet. Temperatures usually stay at around 65 degrees during a typical gaming session. Definitely one of the more expensive 1660 supers out there but I think it's worth it for the extra RGB which is adjustable with the Dragon Center software by MSI. It's definitely a well made card, feel sturdy and has a metal backplate to cover up the circuit board making your build look clean. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a powerful card but also doesn't want to break the bank too much.

I decided to upgrade to this card from an ASUS strix 1050 Ti 4GB I wasn't sure if it was gonna be worth it on my older system due to reviews online or you-tubers saying i will lose FPS, my CPU will bottleneck but it does work and it works well above my expectations. no stutters either! surprisingly! I could play all the new games with my older card at 1080p HD at 40-60fps. but with this card, i can get surprisingly 80-90 fps on call of duty modern warfare, 110-140 fps on CS:GO on high/ultra settings with no stutters which is not bad considering my i5 6400 only has 4 cores & 4 threads. I can also get 40-50 fps on 4K setting (3840x2160) resolution but i'll rather just play on 1080p HD at (1920x1080) for now. of course streaming while gaming or VR wouldn't work with my setup. but i am pretty sure this card is VR ready. and i was gonna go for a ryzen 7 3700x upgrade but after trying this out on my current setup why spend more money? i will just upgrade when i really have to or when money allows it. but for now, this works. I also included pictures of my bench mark tests for those that are skeptical and no! my i5 isn't overclocked. i can't anyway. it's a regular 6400 and a none K. intel also put a stop to overclocking non k on Z170 mobos. with that said, i almost forgot. you can also turn on RAY-TRACING on with this card (directX 12) and this requires a power supply at least 450W that has an 8-pin PCI connector for those who are new to pc building. my budget PC specs are: - i5 6400 air-cooled with an evo 212 - 32GB DDR4 2133MHZ - MSI gtx 1660 super 6GB - 650 watts PSU (corsair CX) thanks for reading!

I'm giving this 5 stars because it works as well as it could. I planned on getting a 3070 but we all know how that went. Therefore I went for the 1660s because it can play games well even if it's not the greatest. Best Buy also had this card for a very cheap price. Like $150 cheaper than other places. Some fps counts. Gta V: 100-110 on medium/high. Cyberpunk: 60-70 medium. Rocket League: 144-200 Highest. COD Cold War: 100-120 medium/high.

Customers regard the GAMING X NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card favorably, praising its strong performance, especially for 1080p gaming, and its good price point. Many appreciate the ease of installation and the effective cooling system, which keeps noise levels relatively low. While some users noted occasional fan noise under heavy load, the positive feedback on performance, value, and user-friendliness outweighs this concern. The RGB lighting is also a frequently cited positive feature.
