Customers are satisfied with the GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio's performance and cooling capabilities, frequently praising its high frame rates and quiet operation. Many appreciate the RGB lighting features, although some find the card's large size and high price to be drawbacks. The card's substantial weight is also a concern for some users.
This graphics card provides notable performance gains over the previous generation 1080 cards. Games are able to keep 60+ fps at 4k resolution typically with no problem. Thermals are great at 4k as well. Paired with an overclocked 5ghz core i5 9600k with 16gb of corsair vengeance lpx ram, I did not see any bottlenecks as long as setting were set to ultra 1440p or higher. CPU and GPU utilization were at 90-100%. PROS 1. a delight to look at with customizable rgb 2. Thermals and Sound, quiet and cool 3. Triple Fan Design 4. GDDR6 memory 5. The overclocking capabilities is huge 6. Stock performance worth the upgrade CONS 1. Very heavy card: included is a bracket to hold the cards weight, this card will break your pci-e slot without support! 2. This card is twice as long as my old 1080, make sure you have enough clearance! 3. 2 1/2 slots needed

This card is huge, be sure to triple check your case clearances before making a move on this card. The card physically takes up 2 slots, but the cooler extends down to the third. With that out of the way lets get to the pros/cons: Pros: - Massive cooler, great thermal performance - ~60-65c under load with my OC settings - my card hits just shy of 2000MHz boost, stable, after tweaking settings in MSI Afterburner - tasteful RGB implementation, not over the top - absolute monster at 1440P, able to max out all settings, save for RTX, on games and hit over 110FPS in BFV & Witcher 3 - great quality VRM - MSI MysticLight is intuitive and easy to use, MSI Afterburner is great as well Cons: - price to performance just isn't really there at MSRP, a definite buy on sale though (4-star rating because of this) - included accessories are sparse, just a support bracket with a cheesy catch phrase screen printed on and a PCIe cable converter dongle - some PCB level components omitted on this card that other competing vendors include on theirs. Would really add value if those were implemented (check out YouTube for video breakdowns of this card to see what I mean here). Overall this is a great GPU that offers good performance. Coming from a GTX 1080, having this card is a night-and-day difference. This card is a definite buy on sale or if you just can't wait to upgrade.

I've been using this GPU for one month and it's doing its job perfectly. I'm playing every game at ultra settings with amazing graphics. It's cooling design is beyond my expectations and it's really silent. There's nothing to say about MSI quality.
