MSI - Modern 14" Ultrabook Laptop - i3 1115G4 - 8GB Memory - Intel Iris Xe - 512GB Solid State Drive - Beige Mousse

Purchased for over 600.00 for Christmas. Barely had time to use it, so it was kept in box for months. No downloads, no additional programs, did not even complete the windows 11 upgrade. Fast forward to this month. Finally have time to sit down and use the laptop. Keep it lifted up for air flow and watched some youtube for a few nights before bed. Turn it off and pass out. Yes, actually off. All in all about 2 weeks of very light use. Maybe an hour or two hours max, at a time. No, not heavy use, while I try to imply light. Literally light, 'why did I need a laptop?' kind of use. Mind you, I purchased this for writing projects and did not even get to do that. Because low and behold, I power it down, plugged in and charging, go to the living room for a few hours, come back and the system is hot! Yes, still lifted up for air flow, as this is one 'thin' laptop, so you better lift it up. Absolutely will not power on again! Ran through various fixes and still no deal. Will not power on and apparently burned out while charging for a few hours. Not seven or even six hours... a few small hours! While technically powered down, other than plugged in to charge. Worst part is, it was not even dvd burn out heat or playing a game. This has no hard disc drive for dvd's or anything. When purchasing, I kind of missed the fact it did not have a dvd drive or never would have made the buy, in the first place. Throw in that the warranty through Bestbuy was something insane, like thirty days? Now I have to contact MSI support and jump through hoops. Do not purchase this laptop. Absolute cheap and dangerous to leave unattended in another room and not backed for proper testing time through best buy.

This pc definately a joke. everytime i go to change my sound it lagues ans it can take me up to at times 25 minutes just to get it to load. Ive had it 6 weeks lol
