Customers admire the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 VENTUS 3X OC BV 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card's high performance and effective cooling system, frequently praising its quiet operation. While some find the price a bit high and the card's size noticeable, many appreciate the lack of RGB lighting and the overall solid build quality. Positive feedback also highlights the excellent ray tracing capabilities. The card's design is also a point of praise for many users.
This is one of the more expensive versions of the 3070. Nvidia created a great card that beats last versions 2080 and matches the 2080ti with less power/temps. Now this card costs more than the 3080 FE and some 3rd party 3080s. Is it a good value? When compared to the previous generations yes. When compared to this generation no. The board is locked to the same FE board power of 220W. Not sure how they can call this an OC! NVIDIA low introductory MSRP on founders edition created a real pricing pickle for 3rd parties. To put performance into perspective this card averages small 1-3 FPS gains on the FE card. Not enough to satisfy the cost. This card is longer and thicker than the FE (takes up more pci slot space). It does run cooler and quieter but the FE does those two thing really well. No power adapter needed. No RGB. Non-metal backplate. The 3070 is a monster of a card. This card is all that but not at the current price.

While this MSI is crazy expensive for a 3070, in the times like this you get what you can at base price. At the end of the day it’s a solid 3070 with great cooling and even greater performance. Overclocking is pretty much not an option with it but it doesn’t need to when you’re seeing 120+fps at 1440p with most triple A titles. Works like a beauty and can really crank it to 100% for long periods and it still stays cool under pressure. Just give it lots of airflow. I paired mine with an X570 MSI tomahawk Motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 5600x. I couldn’t recommend this card enough as long as you don’t go into debt affording it.

Paid $559.99. What a huge upgrade coming from a GTX 660. I’ve never had an MSI video card before, but this card most definitely surpasses my expectations from performance to build quality. I was able to run Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra-quality with no frame drops at 1080p. I was also surprised how the fans don’t spin until the cards starts getting hot, and with some games, the fans don’t even spin at all. I believe this is also due to the fact that the heatsink is partially exposed allowing the case fans to cool the heatsink as well. I was originally going for a card with RGB lights, but I like how the light reflects off the exposed heatsink. The card also came with support bracket. The support bracket isn’t necessary, but I did like the look of it, so I kept it on. Amazing card with great build quality!
