Customers highly value the Prestige 15's performance, particularly its impressive 4K display and ability to handle demanding tasks. The lightweight and sleek design, along with generally good battery life, also receive positive feedback. Many appreciate the vibrant and accurate colors of the display, ideal for graphic design work. While some note that battery life could be improved, especially with the 4K display, overall the laptop is praised for its combination of power and portability.
I purchased a Prestige 15 and the back of the screen started to come off with less than 6 months of use (I found out later that it is a recurring problem with MSI laptops). I'm living abroad and the guarantee cannot be activated in my country. Totally disappointed with MSI, I don't recommend it to anyone.

MSI Prestige 15, UHD screen, 16GB RAM, 512GB capacity, Nvidia 1650 Max Q Consider this: If you buy the FHD (1080p) version, you'll get better battery life, and the laptop will generate less heat when under heavy load. The MSI Prestige 15 is an ultrabook. It's lightweight and thin, so there will be trade-offs regarding some of the complaints people have about this device. Overall, this laptop is impressive. It's got more input/output ports than most other ultrabooks (it even has two thunderbolt 3 ports). After trying 5 different premium ultrabooks, I'm sticking with the MSI Prestige 15. Fan noise - Yes, there will be noise when using this laptop under heavy load (gaming/video rendering/heavy multitasking). Not an issue with everyday use. This is normal for any ultrabook. When not under heavy load, the fans are either off or barely audible, in a quiet room. It's easy to toggle different power settings with the touch of a button. Heat - This laptop gets warm when under heavy load. Again, this is an ultrabook, so the cooling solution isn't going to be as efficient as a thicker laptop. Note: the i7-10710U Intel processor will run cooler than the i7-9750H, a common alternative in high-end ultrabooks. Unlike some ultrabooks, RAM on this device can be expanded beyond 16GB (up to 64). There's also an extra port for expanded capacity (mine came with 512GB). Build quality - The body is not as rigid (it's somewhat bendable) as I would like. Not because it's cheap, but because it's so thin and light. If they made this 1lb heavier with a thicker chassis, I would be happy. Be careful when traveling with this device. Performance - Adobe Premiere ran no problem on this laptop. Rendering a 7-minute 1080p@30fps video using a 2-pass VBR, 50 mbit video quality, and maxed depth took about 25 minutes. Using CBR, the same video took 3-4 minutes. - Gaming: The MSI Prestige 15 will run Starcraft 2, ultra settings, 4K @ 60fps without trouble - World of Warcraft, ultra, 4K @ 30fps. Change it to 1080p/ultra and it'll run past 60fps. - It will struggle with modern AAA games when set to ultra. Whatevs, thunderbolt 3 ports can hook this laptop up to an external GPU. Problem solved. The mouse pad is super smooth. I also dig the keyboard. Sound - I've heard better speakers, but this will suffice.

As a graphic designer I needed a laptop with a great display and the power to run big programs. This laptop checks those boxes with ease at a price much cheaper than similar laptops such as the Dell XPS 15. The display is color accurate out of the box, very bright, and 4K makes everything super crisp. The processor is a current gen i7 that makes light work of heavy programs like Photoshop and Premiere Pro. The dedicated graphics are powerful enough too. With the GTX 1650 I can run COD: Warzone at 60 frames at 1080p. The laptop runs cool and quiet a majority of the time. When gaming I do turn the fans to max to keep it cool and that gets a little loud. The battery life is good but not great mainly because of the bright 4K display. I can get about 8 hours of casual use but during work I'll get closer to 5 hours of use. The laptop charges with USB C which is super convenient and comes with 2 thunderbolt ports for it. In the package a dongle is included for a standard SD card, micro usb, an additional micro sd card, 2 additional usb type A, and an ethernet port.
