If you, a friend, or a loved one is a fan of the television phenomenon known as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and you have not seen the Equestria Girls movie yet in theaters or on cable (The HUB Network for me), consider purchasing this film. Although it isn't the Blu-Ray edition, it's crystal clear on any HD TV. The cast features human versions of all of your favorite ponies and the plot centers around Twilight Sparkle and her friends. The story is not too fast paced for younger children, but also not slow enough to bore teens and adults so it's fun for everyone. If you've never seen the television series, this will not be a good jumping-in point as the characters are pre-established and not thoroughly reexplained. Chronologically, this movie fits in-between the end of season 3 and the beginning of season 4.

My 3 year old daughter loved watching youtube clips of some of the songs from this movie and when I saw it really cheap decided to see weather she would like the full movie. She LOVED it and stayed glued to it during the full movie (sitting half of the time and dancing to the songs the other half of the time). Basically even watching it once buying this was cheaper than paying for babysitting for that time.
