Four Years Later
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendAnd I still play this game. 2K knows how to make games. Just waiting for them to get back into football.

A time before 2k's greed became overbearing.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWas a great game for it's time, one of the last great 2k games before they started getting super greedy with VC.

Different in a good way.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI keep hearing a lot of bad things about how Spike Lee messed up to 2k MyCareer mode, but I don't agree with those people the story mode was actually more involved and thought out wasn't just random scenes put together that pretend to create a story but it actually kind of made you feel attached to the characters in a more unique kind of way for it to be 2k. At the end of day it is still just a video game and it's not the greatest thing having a storyline in a sports game which is what most truly care about is playing the basketball not watching cut scenes and yes most people are going to skip them to rush through but I say don't give the storyline a chance its not that long 2-3 hours tops you'll be done with the main story mode and you'll be in your second season of your career and then you'll get to play every single game no more cut scences. I personally enjoyed it and I feel everyone should try to give it a chance. All days in my career mode are more interactive giving you more options to practice or do endorsements hang out with fans the other teammates not sure of this was in 2k15 but I know it wasn't in 2k14. Over all the rest of the game is what you would always expect from a 2k just good old fashioned basketball slightly better graphics in the previous year what are the different menu setup still getting a little tired of the microtransactions but I guess every companies try to find new ways to make more money not a big fan of how they cap created players now limiting the ability to max every attribute, (6 or 7 total). You're given about 56 possible upgrades from the moment you create your character but there are 90 total upgrade that can be made so choose wisely there is no way to make all attributes fully upgraded you just don't have enough upgrades available and so far with me being in this middle of my second year I haven't found a way to max them all out. It's very interesting that you have to go to the main menu to actually put tattoos on your character even though you purchase the tattoos from inside my career mode but overall still a great game but can always get better 4/5.

Great Game!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWhile with most games I feel like there could be more features loaded and it could be improved by doing various options, I found this has been a very enjoyable game. I have played the past several basketball games in this 2K franchise. This is much more than just a roster update. This has a notable improvement over 2k15 as it has more options, better graphics, and an improved gameplay. The online execution for me so far has worked without any problems. It is also very fun to play with 2-4 players on one console.

Spike Lee almost destroyed My Player mode.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendUsually pick this game up for the RPG element of creating and maintaining of your player, but man did Lee really wet the bed with this mode. You play Frequency Vibrations, "Freq" for short — that’s your nickname, everyone will call you that no matter what name you actually choose, and it carries over into your post-narrative career, so you might as well get used to it. Livin’ Da Dream is a cliché-ridden, shallow, ridiculous mess. That being said, the game itself is probably the best in the series as far as accessibility is concerned. Tons of modes, and the online mode actually works!!! You can't have everything but at least 2K made the replayability high.

Great gameplay, could do without the story
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe actual in-game basketball was great. Smooth gameplay. AI takes advantage of my stupid passes. You can catch fire, not quite like nba jam but when you're on a streak you'll drain everything if you can get open looks. Story was disappointing in that the only choice you can make is what college you go to, which doesn't even matter. You're one and done and go pro. And I HATE that the game forces you to have a bad rookie season. It's on in the second season though and I do like how you decide how to spend your free time... making money, making friends, or improving your game. Still better than anything else

Haven't Played it Yet
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI returned FallOut 4 in exchange for an extra controller so that my son and I can play one another in this game. Haven't played yet but looking forward to it. My nephew, who is 8, is very into the game. He especially enjoys the level of customization that he can achieve with the players. He was going on about how cool it was that he could switch out all the different types of shoes the players are known to wear.
