Not much to say other than this is complete Net10 SIM card kit. Includes most common SIM card types you may need to activate a smart phone on Net10 network through the carrier of your choice: ATT, T-Mobile, Verizon (Sprint available, but have to call customer service for activation - no SIM included for Sprint). Activation on GSM carriers (ATT, T-Mobile) is fast & easy. CDMA carriers (VZW, Sprint) is not as quick, but activation on VZW was still easy & relatively simple. Have not tried it with Sprint, as Sprint seems disinclined to support 3rd party carriers (Net10). I needed a phone on VZW to use on a remote jobsite as the GSM carriers had very poor cell coverage. This SIM kit is necessary to start your service on Net10 wireless. Straightforward, painless, relatively quick (this is my 2nd phone on Net10). Much easier than dealing with the big 4 carriers directly, no contracts, better pricing, yet still able to select the major carrier of your choice for best coverage.

      Useful, but not exactly "simple".

I'm sure this would be easier to use from a computer on their desktop site than from a mobile browser, but it took me about an hour to get my phone activated. There were about 3-4 times where I had to change the type I was using (CDMA vs GSM), so I thought maybe it was my own error, but after trying GSM first, it gave me an error and said it couldn't activate, so I switched to the CDMA sim card, which gave the same error. I switched back to the GSM sim and it worked the second time through. I don't have any complaints about the price. The kit was $1 and the plan was $40. If you have a phone that's already activated and reception (I didn't), you could call customer service and have them help you set it up. Setting it up solo is a bit overwhelming, but it works.

I switched my Google Pixel 5" phone from Tracfone to the Net 10 $35 plan and it was a flawless switch. I spent no more than 10 minutes setting up the service. Popped out the Tracfone BYOP ATT Sim and put in the Net 10 BYOP Sim and then turned on the phone and it works. There are 3 kinds of providers inside the box. ATT, TMobile and Verizon. So pick whatever works best in your area and it will work. I would have loved to purchase a $35 airtime card from my local Best Buy Mobile, but they did not have any in stock at Southland so I was able to complete my transaction online with my debit card. Keep in mind that the plan I picked ($35) only gives you 500mb data at LTE speed and they will slow it down to 2G after that. But everything worked out in the end and my service works fine.

Half The Price Of Verizon's Cheapest Plan, But...

-Customer service is outsourced (India?) and their general protocol to fix problems is having you turn your phone off and back on (they have also lied about fixing my specific issue multiple times as it keeps happening) -Call service in general is okay, but for certain calls it is subpar -The sim card was finnicky at first and it still sometimes takes a restart of the phone to help it find service or to fix the "no inserted sim card" error (I have a newer model Samsung Galaxy phone, so it is not defective) You get what you pay for. Cheaper plan for cheaper service.

For a buck, you can't get much better. The Big 4 try to charge you $25+ for SIM cards. Net10 service provides the exact same coverage as the Big 4, with the ease of choosing which provider works for you and your phone at the same company. Easily switch to a different network when your needs or phone change. Be sure your phone is compatible with the network you choose. Net10 prices are very reasonable, and you can often find discounted refills on e Bay. I recommend Net10 for users who need Verizon or AT&T for the best bang for your buck (Tmobile and Sprint have plenty of other MVNOs that are cheaper than Net10).

To be honest the only reason I buy these at Best Buy is because they’re a dollar, and they aren’t even a dollar on the Internet through net 10. Used to be able to use more than one of the Sim cards in each kid depending on which phone you had and what carrier was in the size of this and card slot but now they change it so it can only be used once which kind of is frustrating but for a dollar you can’t be mad it’s a pretty good purchase

Net10 service is a great workaround all the other price-gauging providers that raise the cost of your plan after a year, and lock you into 2 year contracts. You don't have to fall victim to their tactics when there's this option. Package comes with wide range of SIM card sizes for range of network providers. You buy an unlocked cell phone, and choose an affordable plan based on YOUR needs through Net10. No games. Simply insert SIM, call Net10 tech support, and you're connected. Easy.
