My current modem was out modernized (hard-wire to fiber optics) and I had to upgrade! This was The Best Buy recommendation and it was a good one. Net Gear offered great support over the phone and it really gets the job done FAST! Very nice looking piece of equipment as well! Thanks Harts

Searched all over for a router to use at a location offering only DSL service. Needed better range and higher speeds. This modem/router replaced service providers equipment and blew it out of the water. Setup instructions were easy to understand, and we had it up and running within minutes. Has a great app associated with it that made things even easier.

It works with all our devices but, it only works as well as your internet service. Don't expect miracles. If we are downloading something big, the rest of the household is noticeably slowed. It was easy to set up. I would like to set up a timer to block some devices at specific times but, this is not something that can be fully or easily done. You can only block access to certain sites not a complete shutdown of certain devices. I kind of wished that I hadn't invested $200 so I could have switched to a cable modem. It would have been a much faster service.
