Awesome Router!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I noticed that my Wifi signal was VERY weak in my room (2000 square feet house, second floor). I did a bunch of speed tests in different locations and my room was indeed a dead zone. The provided router through AT&T Internet is alright, it gets the job done. If you don’t have the ability to hard wire an ethernet cable from your router or you want to have the best wireless performance, gamers, professionals, or families with a multitude of devices, this router is definitely what you need. This router has completely gotten rid of my deadzone at my house. I have this router connected Via internet cable to my AT&T Router (1GB Fiber Internet) and positioned for maximum coverage in my dead zone. Super fast download and upload speeds and superb signal strength! The setup is very easy through the Nighthawk App and the router settings interface is very easy to use. Plug and play setup for sure even with me plugging into my AT&T router. ——— The attached photos are my Wireless Speed tests. The higher numbers on those tests are my connection through the Nighthawk. 10/10 would recommend!!!———

FUTUREPROOF YOUR NETWORK
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it may look like "The Emperor's Shuttle" [Star Wars Reference], it is an amazing piece of hardware that provides versatility and scalability to my home and home office network. Bundled with connectivity and security features that blow the competition away. I matched this router with the NETGEAR Nighthawk CM2050V as my ISP includes voice in my internet package/configuration. My network speeds are 1420 Mbps download and almost 100 Mbps upload on average which surpasses the ISP hardware and I feel that I have more control over my network without needing to rely on tech support [eternal hold]. NETGEAR also offers network extenders which I may consider later for any dead spots in my home but thus far, it has not been necessary to consider that option. My main network runs on average 3 smart TVs, 4 laptops, multiple smartphones, and a PS5 without breaking a sweat and I haven't even employed the guest network yet. With the NETGEAR app on my smartphone, I can configure and monitor my network with ease while having peace of mind that it is secure. I highly recommend if you are building a home/home office network that you do your homework like I did but I am confident that every path will lead you back to this solution for your network needs. The bottom line is that I intensely dislike having to pay for something more than once and that is often the case with planned obsolescence. Technology changes but NETGEAR in my opinion has foreseen this by including support for both Wifi 5 and the newer Wifi 6 in this product. A year of ARMOR was also included as an added layer of security with the option to extend hardware and ARMOR coverage based on the consumers' needs.

Very Fast and Reliable
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just replaced my old router with this one and I saw a huge difference. The speed is great depending on your internet provider. I also really like the app that allows me to easily control the router including resetting it remotely or changing the password to my networks easily. It also comes with a trial of Network security which I’m considering signing up for because it’s been so useful. All in all, great router and no downsides so far.

Updated Old Router
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to update my router and purchased the Nighthawk RAXE300. The set-up was super easy. I especially liked the feature of using my previous router name and password, so we didn't have to go through each phone, computer, tablet and TV to re-connect. Our speed has noticeably increased, and I would highly recommend this product!

Nighthawk Router Axe7800
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router has bumped up my speed +200-350 levels from the current wifi signal I was receiving in my house hold. It’s been terrific with my gaming and internet connection. I would recommend the nighthawk to any and everybody. These are next level routers for a reason. I can even run my gaming pc off wifi without any latency or lag issues.

Mostly great!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have about 25 devices on the network, and they seem to all be doing just fine. I did notice at least one device on the wi-fi 6 band, but it doesn’t seem any different than the other bands of wi-fi. During setup, I changed the default SSID and password, and then for some reason it made me restart the entire startup process. Once the setup was completed again, I reset the SSID and password. The router then did a firmware update and made me complete the setup again, for a third time. Once again I changed my SSID and password and thankfully, it has been steady since then. I already had the app installed from my previous router and altogether, the setup took about an hour from unboxing to solid connection to all devices. I did read some reviews about power outages requiring a new setup, but thankfully my power supply is quite reliable and have not encountered the problems other reviewers have mentioned. I have a smart tv, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 connected via LAN and don’t notice any improvements over my previous Nighthawk (which is now discontinued). My fiber internet is labeled as 100mb to the modem and with the Nighthawk app I am getting a constant 114-115mb download over wi-fi. Overall a good router for LAN and wi-fi.

Q: QuestionWhats better this or the Nighthawk mesh system.
Asked by Brooks15.
- A:Answer This… 1000% this.. had the mesh and it was horrible. Dropped signals, resetting daily.. it was beyond aggravating. This router covers our 2600 square foot house perfectly.

Q: QuestionCan you add an Orbi satellite to this router?
Asked by neio11.
- A:Answer You can add any other device. But, if you want everything on the same network IP segment, the Orbi should be in AP mode. If not, the Orbi will be another router behind the this router. That can mean more NAT issues, and no being to reach everything from any device. I run a ASUS mesh system in AP mode behind this router for extending range. The router treats anything connected to them as just another device connect directly to it.

Q: QuestionI have a 2gig fiber optic internet connection, but this router is not giving me the full speed. Max speed I am getting when it is connected to the fiber optic connection is 1000mbps, where as the technician got 2000mbps on his laptop hardwired. pls help.
Asked by Waf.
- A:Answer If you're using the port marked "Internet", it's limited to 1gig. The router supports WAN aggregation, but I'm assuming you have one link from your ISP. If that's the case, try configuring the 2.5Gig port as your WAN interface. Second, all of the LAN connections are going to be 1Gig as well. This router does support LAN link aggregation if you use the two aggregate link ports, which would allow you to have 1Gig + 1Gig = 2Gig to the device. Some computers, especially gaming computers, have two LAN connections for this reason. So, run your internet into the 2.5Gig port, and run two cables to your computer using the aggregate ports to get 1gig+1gig. At least that's how I understand it.
