Combined Router and Modem
|Posted .Having had many separate router and modems, this time I combined the two and the results are fantastic. The Nighthawk provides great looks, less wires and clutter and delivers perfect performance. I couldn’t be happier.

Exceptional performance, but large footprint

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Plus sides: Internet speeds increased by about 5X from my 3 year old docsis 3.0 Surfboard modem. Being able to turn off the lights in the settings to prevent it from being as bright as a landing aircraft. Down sides: Huge foot print, had to change from original location Settings can be confusing to navigate, had to look up how to create static IP's for devices

Perfect, You get your Subscribed speed
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendSo far none of my Modem Router got the full subscribed speed. I was always using Modem separate and Router separate, and I am not the fan of a single device which has both because I tried different modem routers but none can beat CM600/NetGear R7000. But this guy beat with good margin speed. I really liked it, my wife really liked it because saves space :). The package has manual, power adapter, ethernet cable. It has 4 Antenna's and those are attached to the device, we just need to adjust the position, which is good. it has 4 ports and ReadyShare USB Storage. Both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz works fine. Cons : 1. In 2.4 GHz you do not get full speed ( gets near to max 75% of subscribed speed). In 5Ghz you get more than your subscribed speed. 2. Lights glow more. If you hide your device, it is ok. but if you keep it in a place everyone can see...then you may be little annoyed with lights.

Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I Had a number of issues with my devices falling off the network after many weeks of support from Net gear and trouble shooting we were finally able to lick the issue now everything has been working like clock work, I am glad to finally be done. I can't be 100% sure all of my issues were all because of the Router however I know that the setting within the router had alot to do with it.
