Enhanced my super fast internet.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to have Velop basic model only that can handle up to 100mbps since I upgraded my internet speed to 400mbps the velop doesn’t work on my new router that my ISP provided me. So I went shopping for router. Did my research and finally chose Netgear Orbi. I chose this over higher versions of Velop because of good reviews and I was hesitating that if I purchased another Velop it might not work on my new router. So far I had super fast internet. I like the app and it comes with 1 year free internet protection plan from Bitdefender. I’m so happy with this product. The product itself looks elegant design in my living room, kitchen and master bedroom. It has a wide range as well even in outdoor. Easy set up compared to Linksys Velop. It’s kinda pricey compare to Velop which has $100 off. This product has no discount. I don’t mind paying the full price as long as it delivers it’s features.

You have to see it to BELIEVE it..
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OMG. I was planning to hardwire from my 1st floor to the 2nd floor as I was getting 7 - 10 Mbps in one of the rooms. There was severe interference from the concrete wall. All the other rooms had 250 Mbps. I accidentally stumbled upon this and took a chance and to say I am impressed is an understatement. I am getting 180 Mbps now in the problematic room and 580 Mbps in other rooms. Note: I was using a Netgear MODEM ROUTER device and here is what YOU SHOULD DO before setting this device. 1. Disable all the current wifi networks as your phone will try to connect to one of the networks. You can do this by selecting "forget this network" in iPhone Settings (or) change the WIFI password by logging onto the routerlogin.net. (I did the later). Refer the Before and After snapshot of speed :)

Great WiFi Mesh System
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I searched and searched for a wifi mesh system for our 2500 sq ft home. Finally settled on the Orbi, and could not be happier! My download speeds average around 230 Mbps. I even have coverage outside my home now, where I didn't before.

Solved all home wifi problems... almost
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product and system. Not as large or unattractive as it appeared when shopping and comparing systems online (satellites smaller than main router). Easy set up. Eliminated weak signal coverage areas in my home. Helpful online (call) service that lead to identification of further internet service limitations slowing my network speed. However, I do not have what many would consider high speed from my ISP (<25 MB/s download and upload, but all I need)

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product made my home wifi experience amazing. Use to have spotty signals or spots I would lose connection and now it's consistent and great. My boys are using their Nintendo switch, PS4 and other devices. I give it a 4-star coz it’s a bit pricey. Other than that, this product is great.

Orbi AC2200 far exceeded my expectations
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't really want to buy the Orbi, primarily because I thought it looked like big air fresheners/deodorant sticks, but my friend who's a Geek Squad installer said these are the best in this price range. I'm glad I listened to him. The installation was ridiculously easy since I kept my previous network/password combination. Within minutes, the base unit found the satellites and I had 18 devices online. An unexpected bonus: my internet speeds increased dramatically -- nearly 4x faster download on my phone and laptop and about 10% faster up. And the Orbi App is superb.

Fast Internet Speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up with consistent internet connection through the house. The best part is being able to have a wired internet connection from the satellite for my work laptop at my desk without haven’t to run Ethernet behind the walls.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference with a wifi mesh and wifi router and a extender system
Asked by Martin.
- A:Answer The main reasons I switched to mesh was to have a single network name, wifi range, and signal strength. With a wifi extender setup, you generally will have multiple network names as the signal is bounced from extender to extender. While moving through your home you will need to switch between those networks. With a mesh network, there is only a need for one name and it is carried throughout the home. I have also found that the signal strength is better with mesh. I have had both, and sm much happier with my mesh setup. Cox's panoramic wifi is a mesh based network. Q: QuestionIf you have the mesh router with 2 satellites, can you later add a 3rd satellite
Asked by Fred.
- A:Answer Yes. I did that 2 weeks ago. I added it the model that has speakers so I can stream my music outdoors on it while also getting wifi.

Q: QuestionWe have internet cable. There isn’t anything else where we live. We live in a rural community with only one provider. My provider actually recommended a mesh system. I have a Netgear router with the cable router. Can this system go with what we have?
Asked by Janet.
- A:Answer This system has its own router. You would replace your existing router with the Orbi. If you have an all in one router/modem, you would need to disable the wireless functionality. Easier than it sounds and your internet provider should be able to talk you through it on the phone.

Q: QuestionSonos looks for a 2.4ghz band vs 5ghz... is this a problem if the Orbi looks like a single network?
Asked by Sonos.
- A:Answer Orbi is a single network SSID, but both 2.4 and 5GHz bands function in that network. There is another 5GHz channel (that's why they are called tri-band) for backhaul connection between the router and satellites so their connection doesn't take away from the bandwidth available to the end devices.

Q: QuestionCan the Orbi satellite connect to he other satellite or do they both communicate to the Main Orbi Router only?
Asked by BestBuyer2020.
- A:Answer Yes it can. I have my base with my DSL at one end of the house. Satellite 1 about in the middle and satellite 2 at the opposite end of the house. Everything is working well and I’m getting full DSL speed throughout my house now

Q: QuestionIf I buy this mesh router would I need to buy a stronger modem ? I have spectrum and just updated my system through them and I am not happy with the buffer and signal loss. I have the most expensive deal with hey have. They said I need a stronger router
Asked by Confused.
- A:Answer I also have spectrum and you shouldn’t need to replace the modem. Test your system hardwired for your true modem speed, you will probably find the issue is the router as long as your connections are secure. This takes the place of the router only. No coax connection

Q: QuestionI have a modem that has 300 Mbps what speed will I get with this? Also how man devices can this hold without dropping speed?
Asked by Jordan.
- A:Answer We have a 400 mbps plan and the speed consistently reads over 450 mbps throughout a house of 3260 sq ft and 2 story. This includes the former dead spots in our home. We have invested in a lot of home automation gadgets (Amazon echos, smart bulbs, smart switches, Rokus, Apple TV’, 3 iPhones, 3 PCs, a movie theater room, 2 iPads, 3 gaming systems- PS4, Oculus Rift, Gaming PC, Ring doorbell and chimes.... you get the point) Currently, the Orbi app says we have 36 devices connected. We may not be using them all at Once but haven’t noticed a drop in quality of Wi-Fi coverage. I think you have nothing to be worried about. Get it!
