I bought this router to replace my aging Netgear N600. This router has exceeded my expectations in every single way! -I has just silly fast data transfer rates. -The range is awesome, It reaches everywhere in my house, and downstairs into my parking garage, and it covers a good share of my yard outside. -Setup was super easy, and the "Nighthawk app" makes control effortless. -At any given time there are 7-8 devices running through this router (2 smart TV's, 3 phones, 3 tablets, 3 laptops, wireless printer, 2 Roku's, and several gaming consoles)...I have NEVER come even close to choking the performance of this router. -And in my opinion, this thing just looks cool too. The ONLY negative that some may find is, it's a pretty big piece of hardware, I don't mind it at all, but if your going for the "minimalist" look, you'll have to find a way to hide it...

I got this to upgrade my five year old Linksys router. I put it into an 1100 square foot brick ranch. I had just upgraded my internet speed to 500mb/sec. It made everything in my house that runs on Wi-Fi a ton faster / smoother. My smart TV, Roku, iPhone, iPad, Mac mini, MacBook, and four security camera all run a ton smoother. I used the app to change the network name and pass, so that all the devices automatically connected to the new router. Very easy setup using the app (you install the app) and my iPhone. It was on sale for like $110, which made the purchase even better. I am super happy with this Wi-Fi router. Worth every penny.

I had a combo cable modem/router I was renting from Mediacom that was constantly needing to be reset. I decided to purchase my own. Went to my local Best Buy and after a discussion about my issues and needs with the associate I decided to go with a separate modem and router and this is the one she recommended. Using the app on my iPhone the set up was a breeze. We have 4 TV's that we stream on as well as 2 phones and an iPad. This router is handling all of them with ease! We have a 1500 sq ft house and this is located in the back bedroom. the 2.5 gHz band covers out to the front porch. The 5G is super fast but the signal gets low in the dining room in the front of the house but works great in all the areas we need it. I also purchased the defender software the protect against malware and hacking and it is worth the peace of mind. I have tested my internet speed and it is a VERY fast 130 Mbps upload and 16 download. I am very pleased with this router and highly recommend!
