Love my new lenses
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never had a macro lens, so I'm having a lot of fun experimenting with my new Nikon 85mm f/3.5G macro. My new Nikon 35mm f/1.8G portrait lens is providing much better results than the 18-55mm kit lens that came with my Nikon D5500 camera. I purchased these two additional lenses as a kit, for an awesome savings. I know these are not the highest quality camera and lenses that Nikon makes, but as a beginner, I'm having a lot of fun learning without shelling out big $.

Nice pair of Nikon lenses at a good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The included Nikon 85mm f/3.5G lens is a good quality macro lens for the DX format. More compact and lighter than its larger Nikon 105mm macro brethren, it is easier to use hand held and still offers vibration reduction while only being about 1/2 a stop slower maximum aperture. It balances well on the DX bodies and the image quality is good as well. The 35mm f/1.8G lens is basically the equivalent of a standard 35mm prime lens as its effective focal length is approximately 52.5mm. As such it should be considered as a fast normal lens for DX, not a mild wide angle lens. If you're in the market for a macro lens for Nikon DX format, this kit is a good bargain especially if you already do not already have a 35mm lens as its actually less expensive than the regular price of just the 85mm macro lens alone. Both lenses are packaged individually inside the kit box in their normal retail boxes (not white boxed as the lenses included in some Nikon body-lens kits).

I'm complete
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to buy this bundle mainly because of the Micro lens. However, the 35mm took me by surprise. I knew prime lenses where better for the quality of the image but I wasn't expecting such improvement from the standard lens my D3400 had. I love this bundle. Now I'm only waiting on the online class to be able to get it for free and I'm good to go.

Great Deal!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to purchasing these lenses, I priced them out separately on different online outlets. I was looking for both a Macro Lens and Portrait Lens for my new camera. This packaged together deal was by far the best deal with the best price! The lenses are awesome!

Great deal for a great bundle!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After shooting with my D5200 for several months using the kit lens, and taking a few classes, I was itching to purchase another lens. I'd read several books, reviews, and articles trying to decide what I wanted my next lens to be, but I couldn't make a decision. When I saw this bundle and its price, I knew I'd found what I was looking for. The macro lens (85mm) allows me to have fun with shooting flowers and other objects close up. I recently used the 35mm at a family gathering and got some awesome shots. Definitely worth the money!

Q: QuestionCan I use both of these lenses with a D3200 ?
Asked by Charlieb5200.
- A:Answer Yes, both the AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 85mm f/3.5G ED VR lens and the AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G lens are designed specifically for use with DX format DSLRs like the D3200.

Q: QuestionIs the 35mm lens good for taking full body images?
Asked by undertaker.
- A:Answer Depends on how far you are in relation to the subject. If your close and filling the frame with full body you might start to see some distortion. 35mm would be good to capture full subject or groups, with some scene included.

Q: QuestionIs the 85mm micro nikkor in the two lens kit identical to a stand alone 85mm micro nikkor? Why the huge price difference?
Asked by Mass.
- A:Answer The 85mm f/3.5G Macro lens that is listed here is a DX lens. There is also an 85mm f/3.5 G Macro lens that is of the FX variety. This difference in lens type can make a significant change in price.

Asked by Pappy.
- A:Answer Both the Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.8G and Nikon AF-S 85mm f/3.5G Macro are great lenses to add to any camera bag and are fully compatible with Nikon DSLR's F-mount series of cameras. Q: QuestionAre these compatible with a nikon D3100?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The D3100 lacks a built-in focus motor. In order to obtain autofocus with a NIKKOR lens, you would need to purchase a lens that has a focus motor. Nikon denotes this by the AF-S notation on the lens. The AF-S notation on the lens means that it contains Nikon's Silent Wave Autofocus Motor in the lens. Both of the lenses in this Macro Two Lens kit are AF-S type lenses. They are 100% compatible.
