Outstanding Lens!
Posted .I love this lens-it is my favorite, thus far!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful macro or micro lens, and it is also wonderful for portraits. However, do not be fooled by the "VR" that Best Buy has added to the description...it's not there. Not that it is needed, but buyer beware.

Love this lens for Macro photos.
|Posted .I'm just getting into Macro photography. It's really fun to catch a Butterfly on a flower. This lens is great as far as bokeh is concerned. Everything is blurred but the subject. I'm thrilled that i made this purchase.

Nice lens
|Posted .Enjoying every minute using this lens. I didn't think it would be a heavy lens considering its dimensions so I'd suggest using a tripod. Watch out bugs...here I come!!!!

Very Nice Lens for your money
Posted .I needed a good lens for close ups and this lens is it. I have never had a lens that was this sharp. If you like to take very close photos this is the lens for you.

a real bargain lens
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Close shots, Focus, Picture qualityLightweight lens, sharp, low/no distortion, at a bargain price. This is my walk around lens, sharp as a 50mm normal lens without distortion - another advantage is the 10mm of extra reach and its close focus capability is useful for copy work or an occasional close-up.

Ease of Use4 out of 5Pros mentioned:Focus, Picture qualityI couldn't wait to try this lens,so i attached a few examples, it takes some getting use to, but well woth the money, you have to start off farther away and slowly move in until the desired picture is in focus. But over all it is a great lens and will help you accomplish what you are looking for in the macro field. This is only the beginning and i have a whole world to explore with it.

Sharp pictures
Posted .Pros mentioned:Picture qualityI bought this lens last year as an introduction lens for macro photography and to give me something to play with around the lawn and garden. It has crisp pictures but I find focusing to be a little touchy. I'm having to learn to be a little more patient with Macro photography as getting depth of field seems to tougher than with landscape photography. Overall a great lens but wish I'd have purchased one with a little longer reach. This lens requires you to get VERY close to your subject.
