Get this camera!
|Posted .Volunteered to photograph my son's freshman football team - knew I needed to upgrade my gear. Read many reviews, tested a few, and then I took a leap and spent more than I planned - haven't looked back since. The D7500 does not disappoint! It delivers amazing images. They are rich, vibrant, and professional; ergonomics are great. To date, I have only used it for sports photography, but it will be my primary camera from here on out. Get this camera, you will not regret it. BTW, I've been asked to shoot JV and Varsity now too (maybe this camera is too good).

Wow!
|Posted .Purchased on the first day it was available in stores and couldn't be more pleased. Upgraded from an entry-level Nikon DSLR which I found to be a nice camera, but I needed more speed to keep up with my sons' swimming. I considered the D500 for its speed (10 fps), but decided the D7500's speed (8 fps) was more than sufficient, and the price of the 7500 vs. the D500 couldn't be beat. Also, who doesn't like having the newest thing available?

I have take so many wonderful wildlife and Astro shots with this since I got it. Due to the pandemic I’ve found that photography is a wonderful pastime, as it gets me outside and keeps me from going stir crazy.

Nikon D7500
|Posted .This camera was an upgrade from a model we have had for several years. It has many of the same features but they have been improved and several new features added. I really like the speed and the low light ability without needing to always use the flash. I do primarily bird photos and the speed and lighting are very important. I have also taken photos of children "on the move," and they have turned out great.

Great Camera

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I upgraded from my old D200. This camera is great, I've only had it for about a month but so far I love it. The low light ISO sensitivity compared to my old D200 is a huge improvement. Im not a pro so I dont really miss any of the extra features the D200 had. This camera is a great high end camera for just about anyone unless you are a paid professional photographer and need the features of the D500 or full frame cameras.

Nikon is the best!
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I bought this as an upgrade from my D3200. I've been looking at the specs between the full frames and the DX frames. I finally decided to go with this. Same sensor and processing engine as their flagship D500. I still consider myself as a beginner and I've yet to unlock the potential of this camera. The few weeks that I've owned this camera, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I can tell the picture quality were amazing the moment I took my first shot from this camera.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I only got this camera a few days ago, and I am already SO impressed by it! I was concerned about the mega pixels only being 20.9, but I can't even notice the difference. The rapid fire is absolutely brilliant! The fastest is 8 frames per second and seems to be even better when set on "sport".

Q: Questionhow well does this camera work on auto only all the time
Asked by patc.
- A:Answer If you want to shoot in auto full time, perhaps one of Nikon's less advanced cameras in the D3xxx or D5xxx series would be a better choice. This is a lot of camera, including the cost, for just shooting in auto full time. The D7500 has the same sensor as their top crop frame camera the D500 and will most likely do very well in auto.

Q: QuestionWhat is the maximum size sd card that the D7500 can read/write?

Q: Questionhow well does this camera work in low light situations without a flash, such as in a church?
Asked by lobo.
- A:Answer The Nikon D7500 DSLR camera has ISO that can go up to an incredible 51,200. Coupled with a low aperture lens this amazing new camera body will allow you to capture images that have phenomenal sharpness and tonality, especially in low light. For situations that involve the need for more light not only does this camera have a built-in flash, but there are also many compatible speedlights available for it to add to your growing camera bag.

Asked by Margi1138.
- A:Answer The Nikon D7500 DSLR camera is fully compatible with AF-P, AF-S, AI, AF and E-type lenses. Any one of those types of lenses will work beautifully with this camera body.

Q: QuestionIs this camera any better than the Nikon D7200? Any big differences?
Asked by Leonardo2119.
- A:Answer I don't own a D7200, but I took considerable time comparing models before deciding on the D7500. They are comparable in many ways and both cameras are packed with features and both take great pictures. At the end of the day, however, it was two new features that were introduced with the D7500 that settled the matter for me. The first is the new articulating touch screen and the second, the synch port for off camera flash. Both of these features have been enormously helpful to me. Most professional reviews are not hugely enthusiastic about the D7500 and call into question whether this model offers a significant enough improvement over the 7200 to justify adding another DX device for those not ready to invest a house payment - or two - on the way to the D500 they really want. The D500 is another $750 but the difference between the 7200 and the 7500 is just $150. It was a no-brainer for me and I every time I take out the 7500, I know I made the right decision. There was actually a much harder choice that I had to make before comparing the D7200 and the D7500 - should I move up to a full-feature DX like the D7500 or make the much larger leap up to the FX D610 or even the D750? With a dozen DX lenses already in my bag, I decided to wait. Bottom line - if you are looking for a world-class, affordable DX D-SLR with almost all the bells and whistles, go for the D7500 over the D7200. Worth every penny.
