Q: Questionwith the 101 compared to the 100 - what difference is there? on the price - the difference? I have a friend with an air fryer and she says it is difficult to clean ??? any ac cessories
Asked by betts.
- A:Answer Hello betts, We would like you to know that the Ninja® 4 qt. Digital Air Fryer, AF100 and AF101, are the same unit. The difference is that the AF101 includes the Multi-layer rack and a 20-recipe inspiration guide. The AF100 includes a 10-recipe inspiration guide. Cleaning this machine is very easy. Before cleaning, unplug the unit from the wall outlet. To clean the main unit and the control panel, wipe them with a damp cloth. The basket and crisper plate are both dishwasher safe. If there is food residue stuck on the crisper plate or basket, place them in a sink filled with warm soapy water and allow them to soak. Use a soft sponge to help remove any remaining residue. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team

Q: QuestionIs a 4 qt. considered a decent size for a family of 5 or do you need the 6 qt.
Asked by Tootie11.
- A:Answer I have the 4 quart and while I only use a tiny amount of space for just me, I would suggest the 6 qt for a family of 5. It's not so much about capacity as it is about air space; food crisps better when the air can circulate around the food. That's why you need to take the tray out and give it a shake a few times while cooking. I think you'd find this easier to do with more food in the 6 qt. Either way, I can tell you it's worth it. My favorite kitchen gadget!

Q: QuestionI am thinking we could replace our small toaster oven from the 1970's with this, except for one thing. Has anyone tried baking a small batch of 3 or 4 chocolate chip cookies in it? What setting(s) & time would one use?
Asked by BuyCorrect1stTime.
- A:Answer Sorry that I cannot answer specifically your question about baking cookies, but I would expect you can do it but would just have to experiment a bit. As others have described, the air fryer is simply a compact convection oven. The small space heats and cooks faster than a conventional oven. Suggest using the temp of your toaster oven but ease back on the time (since hot air circulates). Re other issues of the Ninja - I have had mine for about a month: - it has been very quiet, compared to a few others I tested (Phillips, Gourmia) - no unusual odors from the unit - cleans easily with no damage, although I just hand wash - the Ninja does NOT have a handle that detaches from the inner pan, which I like - - the mechanisms I have seen seem cheap and unreliable. The Ninja feels solid and simple
