Ninja Mega Kitchen System Blender

No mess and does the job in minutes. Until now I have made gazillion smoothies, many cookie doughs and tons of blending in Ninja Mega kitchen. It is still good and clean as new. It is light weight and good material, blades are very sharp. It is my everyday buddy. I have already recommended to so many friends.

DO NOT BUY - jugs break/no support from Ninja
||Posted .Owned for 8 months when reviewed.DO NOT BUY! I bought this product seven months ago and it is now completely unusable. Both the food processor and blender jugs cracked at the bottom, and the food processor built up a brown disgusting gunk in the bottom. We had only used it about ten times! I only just realized another review posted pictures of the exact same problem. That might not have been so bad if it hadn't been for the absolutely useless customer support offered by Ninja. My product was still covered by the 1 year warranty, but when I called I was told that this is normal wear and tear and is not covered by the warranty. They even asked me to video call them and they could see the disgusting mess from the cracks and still wouldn't replace the clearly defective parts. They suggested I order new containers, amounting to what I paid for the unit in the first place. What makes this all worse is that I bought this unit to replace a previous version of the same thing--that one lasted longer, though with less use, before the same thing happened. I will not be buying another Ninja product and I'm certainly not going to spend any more money on these cheap, crappy parts that break with only a handful of uses.

- A:Answer You can definitely make soup with this unit however you would still need to microwave it after it is blended. Ninja also makes the BL 800 which is almost identical to a Vitamix. Yet that system is about $379.00 the difference between the two ninjas being almost $200 helps me to just put the soup in the microwave.

- A:Answer Yes! I’ve been making dairy free ice cream so,smoothing frozen coconut milk,frozen bananas frozen non dairy milk it has grinded right through until smooth. One really good recipe with dairy Whisk 2 cups heavy whipping with tsp vanilla pour into ice cubes tray freeze 2-3 hours and then blend in food processor attachment with 4cups fresh peaches or fresh mangos or strawberries basically any fruit and your choice of sweetener amazing results!

Q: QuestionI currently have a mixer (can use it by hand or attach it to a bowl) that I use for mixing cookie dough, cake mixes, etc. Will this Ninja Mega Kitchen System replace that mixer? How well does it work on making bread dough ?

- A:Answer It has a dough making attachment for the food processor which is a dull double hook and an actual "dough" speed button. It works well. But of course it's limited by the volume of the food processor bowl which is the standard size you see with all food processors.

Q: QuestionI have a blender I can take apart from glass tumbler to wash blade, etc. by hand. Does this blender have a blade that detaches for cleaning?

- A:Answer Yes, the main blade in the Big mixer easily separates for cleaning, and the individual smoothie blade is super easy to clean. Just be careful as these blades are sharp as knives.

- A:Answer Yes and no. The smaller bowl can be used for some food processor functions but you don't have the assortment of blades of the feeder you would have on a traditional food processor. After purchasing this model I contacted ninja and they sold me a more traditional food processor with feeder and blades that works with base. Works great.
