    Classic NES is back!

Don't listen to all the negative reviews on here. People complaining about it's not enough games, it needs wireless controllers, the wires are too short....BLAH BLAH BLAH. I mean honestly people this whole thing costs just $60. The purpose of this retro console is to bring back memories of the original NES system and enjoyment of playing the games on it. It's not meant to have technology upgrades. If you've ever owned the original NES system then you know what I'm talking about. ORIGINAL pure gaming experience.

    An awesome system but........

This system is awesome!!!! But Nintendo really did the wrong thing here by not making enough to the point where everyone bought them just like that and now there aren't any left for the people who haven't gotten one yet. I have no problem with the console at all my problem is with the company.

    Worth the wait

For the first time in my life I waited outside of Best Buy for 2 hours to get this. It's better than I expected, and has been fun reliving my childhood. Looking forward to Thanksgiving to play with the entire family :)

Pretty much, a must for all ages of gamers

Pros. 30 games for $60 is fantastic. Pretty much $2 a game..They put in some real classics but left out just enough big games to make a sequel. The design follows the original pretty closely but at half then size. This can be displayed via HDMI and has 3 different filters. 1 is the pixel perfect and looks amazing and modern. Another is CRT mode and is grainy like the olds tvs you remember. You can also switch display size to 4:3. Cons. The controller cables are no joke, 2.5 feet long. So buy the extension. Unless you want to play like you did as a kid, 3 feet from the tv haha. When you want to play another game you have to push the reset button each time. Take note there is no wifi or LAN connection so getting additional games will not likely happen Overall it's a must for any nostalgic fan. Super Mario is how I got my start gaming as a kid when my grandma grabbed me one from a grage sale

Very cool product, the game choice is very nice as well. Only thing missing IMO are Duck Hunt and Ninja Turtles.

$2 per game! What's not to love?

For those complaining that this console "only" has 30 games and are childishly slamming it with one star reviews, realize that it ends up at $2 per game, PLUS you get a console and controller to play it.

Huge dose of nostalgia in a box

This is definitely worth the price. I understand that, like other classic consoles, it is not expandable, so it is what it is. One of the greatest things is that my kids are getting to experience NES for the first time and they love it too! I think this system is great, but this is what I'm not giving it a 5: 1. Controller cord is too short and forces you to buy an extension. A wireless controller would have been nice. 2. I feel like the number of games could have been more than 30, especially when you consider other classic consoles like Sega contain 80 games. Some of the game choices are questionable (ie - I would have preferred Tetris over Dr. Mario). I have to assume there is going to be a "volume 2" which includes games that are conspicuous by their absence. It definitely left me wanting a little bit more. Overall a lot of fun. Looking forward to getting a second controller when it's available.
