Purchased one of these Nintendo prepaid cards at Best Buy before and was quite pleased, as Best Buy offered them at a discount during a sale. This purchase was even better than the last, as I had a $5 off coupon from Best Buy, so essentially, I got a $10 Nintendo prepaid card for only $5 (50% off!). You really can't beat shopping Best Buy's sales/deals! The card itself is very easy to use on Nintendo hardware to purchase Nintendo software via Wi-Fi connection; in my case, I can download on my 3DS (games, themes, apps, etc.) anywhere I can connect to Wi-Fi. Best Buy has Nintendo Zone Wi-Fi in-store, so essentially, you can download new games immediately in-store after buying this prepaid card, along with any Nintendo Zone bonus content. Kudos to Best Buy for partnering with Nintendo. Card would be a great gift for any gaming fan with a Nintendo 3DS or other hardware/platform that uses this particular prepaid card! By luck, I was able to get a card that also included a Photos with Mario AR card as a free bonus, a free app that uses the included AR card to allow users to takes photos with a Mario character using the 3DS camera! Look for the special prepaid card in-store if you are purchasing!

Nintendo provides a great program of discounts for digital purchases. Registered Wii U deluxe earn Eshop money back PLUS coins for free downloads. Best Buy is the best place I know to get Eshop cards. Keep an eye out for their 20% off Eshop Card Sale and that's even more Zelda and Metroid for your digital bucks!

I chose this card specifically to purchase a new pass for Pokémon Bank. After buying that I had a few dollars to work with, so I bought a couple themes for the Home Menu. I would recommend this for small purchases such as the aforementioned things, but most games cost more than this. Just make sure you have enough to pay for what you want, and sales tax (if applicable).
